Vicki Sue's Very Easy Sudoku was created for my Mom, who asked for a book with 6 x 6 puzzles. A 6 x 6 puzzle means, that there are six squares in a a grid, and 6 grids. Less grids makes it easier to solve. This makes it easier for my Dad who is suffering from Parkinson's. I hope you enjoy this book which is perfect for people young and old who are just starting with sudoku, or who enjoy the game more when it's a little bit easier.

Storytelling is an ancient and powerful human tradition. It ties us to cultural memory and the experiences of those who came before us, linking one generation to the next. Oral tradition is of keen importance to Black heritage and is honored here in this classic work by poet and Harlem Renaissance leader Langston Hughes. Vivid illustrations by contemporary artist Gary Kelley pair with Hughes's 1926 poem in picture-book form to invite young learners to curl up and listen as Aunt Sue recounts her many shadow-crossed stories of slavery and a life hard lived.
Ella Sue Hartgrove, the daughter of sharecroppers Jessie and Estelle Hartgrove, was born in Shelby, North Carolina. She is a proud North Carolinian and enjoys recounting the stories about her youth and family. As an adult, Ella Sue moved North with her three children to enjoy educational opportunities for them, and higher wages for herself. Ella Sue loves visiting the Shelby area and seeing relatives and friends while enjoying worshipping at her old church. She believes that faith, family, and prayer are the most important components to a good life. She sends her blessings to you.
