Quoique mort dans la loi et le p ch , il est vivant en Esprit et en Christ; mort au p ch et vivant en ob issance et soumission au Christ qui est vivant et r el en lui. C'est cette nouvelle nature qui fait ensorte que l'Esprit du Christ prend la cdirection de sa vie maintenant et le chr tien vit r ellement plus que jamais. Il dira librement, ce n'est plus moi qui vis; ce n'est plus moi le vieil homme naturel qui vis parce que cette naturel p cheresse est neutralis e par la force divine. Le chr tien comme Paul, dira, Je vis maintenant dans la chair . Dans ce cadre corporel, tout homme qu'il soit, il est en apparence comme les autres hommes; c'est sa vie int rieure qui est "cach e avec Christ en Dieu." La foi est la cause de sa vie physique; la foi qui peut aussi tre consid r e comme la grande promesse, devient l'atmosph re dans laquelle le chr tien vit. Il est, pour ainsi dire, ancr dans la foi.
