Corra Mae Harris (March 17, 1869 - February 7, 1935), was an American writer and journalist. She was one of the first women war correspondents to go abroad in World War I. Harris was, for a time, the most widely known woman from the state of Georgia. Her literary reputation during her life and legacy since are connected with A Circuit Rider's Wife published in 1910. Reputedly autobiographical, the novel is at most a spiritual autobiography, with little else that resembles her actual life. She wrote more than two dozen books, nineteen of which were published. Two were autobiographies, one a travel journal, and two became feature-length movies, the best known was I'd Climb The Highest Mountain, released in 1951 and inspired by, A Circuit Rider's Wife.

Nu sunt la prima ncercare de a scrie. Am scris sute de poezii şi m-am apucat de nenumărate ori să scriu o carte, ca mai apoi dezarmată că mă tot mpotmoleam şi nu mă ajuta nimeni să finalizez ceva, le băgăm pe foc. Acum mi pare rău, dar niciodată nu este prea t rziu să mai ncerci. Această carte este un amalgam de ingrediente compus din realitate şi ficţiune. Răm ne la latitudinea fiecărui individ să şi aleagă ce este adevăr şi ce e ficţiune. Poate că n asta constă tot farmecul celor relatate. Versurile de la nceputul fiecărui capitol mi aparţin, de-aceea nici nu am apelat la ghilimele de rigoare. Nu ştiu c t va prinde la public această primă ncercare a mea, dar ştiu sigur că odată editată prima carte voi avea cel mai mare vis mplinit. Vis care a izvor t tocmai din frustrarea că nu reuşisem să fac nimic notabil, n afară de realizările pe care eu le consider exemplare şi anume acelea de a fi fiică, soră, cumnată, noră, prietenă, soţie şi nu n ultimul r nd mamă. Ce frumos sună acest cuv nt "MAMA" Aşa că toate acestea la un loc m-au determinat să-mi pun ambiţia la ncercare şi inspirată de v ltoarea aceasta virtuală, să-mi vină absolut firesc n minte acest titlu: Username JESSICA.
