This book evolved out of a conference which was held because of our conviction that prenatal screening and diagnostic techniques provide carers with a two-edged sword which can do both good and harm - often at the same time to the same person. The conference ('The Human Side of Prenatal Diagnosis') dealt with emotional, ethical and legal issues in prenatal screening and diagnosis. It took place in March 1992 at the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London and was attended by obstetricians, paediatricians, geneticists, midwives and ultrasonographers from the North West Thames Health Region. The demand for places at the conference far exceeded the number of places avail able and many people who attended expressed the hope that we would be organizing similar conferences in the future. This confirmed our belief that we were not the only ones preoccupied with the human issues raised by the new technologies and encouraged us to work towards this publication. Prenatal diagnosis and the possibility of selective termination of affected pregnancies is part of a wider move towards repro ductive choice. Like contraception and assisted conception, it can make a major difference to the lives of some people. In our culture, we tend to view choice as a good thing. We look upon it as our right to choose our occupation, our partner, the place where we live, the books that we read and the way that we vote.

"Prophetic Phrases" is simply a book of poems and prophecies. Lenore created this book in hopes to challenge herself in the area of prophetic writing. Lenore has always desired the unique talent of spoken word and hip-hop rapping. Since she was a child, she wished that she could write poetry. Her bloodline of relatives all share the same gift, they too inspired her. Lenore has possessed a strong ability of creative storytelling since high school. She has truly understood the scripture, Philippians 4:13 (KJV) " I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me" throughout this entire process. She is extremely grateful for the abilities that GOD has bestowed upon her and within her. It is her hope that this book of poems and prophecies would encourage other writers and aspiring writers to use their gift for the upbuilding of the kingdom of GOD. Also, to challenge their ear and creative ability to hear the voice of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST during daily writing exercises. God Bless
This book simply describes my journey of "blind faith" with the instruction and leading of the Holy Spirit. I am learning God's voice and trying to maneuver in the Earth realm as best as I can. I am also learning the various dimensions of God such as; Father, teacher, friend, counselor, supporter, provider and instructor to name a few. This book also talks about my experiences with battling homelessness, rejection, disappointment, insecurities, loneliness, fear and the pressures of family, friends and intimate relationships. Most importantly, it explains how I faced the emotions of "blind faith" and how I maintained endurance.
