Os substratos utilizados para o cultivo das oler colas podem apresentar diferentes caracter sticas qu micas, f sicas e biol gicas, influenciando o desenvolvimento inicial e a produtividade dessas culturas. Dessa forma, esse livro realiza uma revis o bibliogr fica sobre a influ ncia dos substratos na produ o de oler colas. Foi demonstrado que os melhores resultados para as oler colas foram conseguidos com substratos compostos com subprodutos agr colas (31,8%). Verificando os resultados por fam lia, foi identificado que os subprodutos agr colas apresentam melhores resultados em Solanaceaes (28,6%), Brassicaceaes (40,9%) e Asteraceaes (68,8 %). De forma geral, considerando o estudo realizado, fica evidente que o emprego de substratos alternativos vi vel para produ o de oler colas.
