Betty Big-Bum is another one of Princess Poo-Poo's friends. Betty Big-Bum has a second-best friend called Bonnie the Bunny. Once again, a problem is solved when Betty Big-Bum finds a way to help a boy called Billy become brave and stop being a bully. This story focuses on the letter "B" with light-hearted humour and a message for young readers about the importance of being friendly. This is the third book in the series of Princess Poo-Poo Books.
One of the most sought-after criminals of the Depression era, Ralph Fults began his career of crime at the improbable age of fourteen. At nineteen he met Clyde Barrow in a Texas prison, and the two men together founded what would later be known as the Barrow gang. Running with Bonnie and Clyde is the story of Fults's experiences in the Texas criminal underworld between the years 1925 and 1935 and the gripping account of his involvement with the Barrow gang, particularly its notorious duo, Bonnie and Clyde.Fults's ""ten fast years"" were both dramatic and violent. As an adolescent he escaped numerous juvenile institutions and jails, was shot by an Oklahoma police officer, and was brutalized by prison guards. With Clyde, following their fateful meeting in 1930, he robbed a bank to finance a prison raid. After the ambush of Bonnie and Clyde, in 1934, he joined forces with Raymond Hamilton; together the two robbed more banks and eluded countless posses before Hamilton's capture and 1935 execution. One of the few survivors among numerous associates who ended up shot, stabbed, beaten to death, or executed, Fults was later able to reform himself, believing that the only reason he was spared was to reveal the darkest aspects of his past-and in so doing expose the circumstances that propel youth into crime.Author John Neal Phillips tells Fults's story in vivid and at times raw detail, recounting bank robberies, killings, and prison escapes, friendships, love affairs, and marriages. Dialogues based on actual conversations amongst the participants enhance the narrative's authenticity. Whereas in books and mms, Fults, Parker, Barrow, and Hamilton have been romanticized or depicted as one-dimensional, depraved characters, Running with Bonnie and Clyde shows them as real people, products of social, political, and economic forces that directed them into a life of crime and bound them to it for eternity.Although basing his account primarily on Fults's testimony, Phillips substantiates that viewpoint with references to scores of eyewitness interviews, police files and court documents, and contemporary news accounts. An important contribution to criminal and social history, Running with Bonnie and Clyde will be fascinating reading for scholars and general readers alike.
Bonnie and Clyde were responsible for multiple murders and countless robberies. But they did not act alone. In 1933, during their infamous run from the law, Bonnie and Clyde were joined by Clyde's brother Buck Barrow and his wife Blanche. Of these four accomplices, only one - Blanche Caldwell Barrow - lived beyond early adulthood and only Blanche left behind a written account of their escapades. Edited by outlaw expert John Neal Phillips, Blanche's previously unknown memoir is here available for the first time.Blanche wrote her memoir between 1933 and 1939, while serving time at the Missouri State Penitentiary. Following her death, Blanche's good friend and the executor of her will, Esther L. Weiser, found the memoir wrapped in a large unused Christmas card. Later she entrusted it to Phillips, who had interviewed Blanche several times before her death. Drawing from these interviews, and from extensive research into Depression-era outlaw history, Phillips supplements the memoir with helpful notes and with biographical information about Blanche and her accomplices.
Here is the true story of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow-a young sociopathic Southern couple gunned down by authorities after a two-year crime spree that left twelve people dead.

How did a petite dancer from a Welsh mining town become a killer in wartime London? Set against the chaos of the Second World War, Wartime London's 'Bonnie and Clyde' unravels the gripping true crime story of Betty Jones and Karl Hulten, whose crime spree led to tragedy and infamy. Betty’s life, shaped by poverty, upheaval, and trauma, took a dark turn when war erupted. After surviving assault, rejection, and a violent marriage, she fled to London from Wales, seeking glamour but found herself ensnared in a shadowy world of striptease dancing, black-market dealings, and fleeting romances. In 1944, she crossed paths with Karl Hulten, a charming yet volatile American deserter, and together they embarked on a reckless spree culminating in the fatal shooting of a taxi driver, a case that would be dubbed the 'Cleft Chin Murder.' Drawing from newly uncovered evidence, police records, court transcripts, and first-hand accounts, this narrative delves into Betty’s transformation and the media frenzy that followed. Was she a cold-blooded killer or a pawn in a destructive partnership? And what became of her after she narrowly escaped execution? Wartime London's 'Bonnie and Clyde' is a haunting tale of crime, justice, and redemption, exploring gender roles, societal attitudes, and the profound impact of war on those living in its shadow. It challenges readers to question how far circumstances and choices shape those who kill, and whether justice was truly served in a case where all were victims.
The story behind Bonnie the Little White HorseI was laid on my daughter's bed one evening with my beautiful daughter Bonnie-mae when she looked deep in to my eyes and asked if I could fetch a good night story to read to her. I was also very tired and it was getting late, so I asked her to try and sleep but, Bonnie being Bonnie, we both knew, one way or another, there would be a story. Bonnie asked again for a story "please daddy" so I suggested it may be fun to tell her a story of our own that I would make up as we went along. I begun the story Bonnie the Little White Horse knowing how much she loves her pony Jenjen. Bonnie stared deep into my eyes and was mesmerised as I created the story for her until eventually she fell asleep. The following night Bonnie-mae asked to go to bed for Bonnie the little white horse which filled me with joyknowing she had enjoyed my story, so I tried my best to repeat it for her. The following day, whilst at work on a building site, I decided I was going to write her a book, so I read it through in my head over and over again and when I eventually returned home I spent a considerable amount of time typing away at it. Eventually after weeks of altering pages I was happy with it and set out to find an illustrator. I was very lucky to find Jane, a local artist, who also knows my children and was thrilled to be invited on the journey as we set out to publish our book. During this time my son Harvey-lee asked if I could create a story book for him, so I got to work on Harvey the Big Green Dragon, as he is Bonnie-mae's big brother. These books have been an exciting experience for myself, my children, Jane and our families. Our children love to read them so we hope you and your children can enjoy them as much as we do.

Betsy looked at Bonnie (Watkins preferred to be called Bonnie) with some excitement regarding Bonnie's newly discovered powers of clairvoyance. Bonnie told Betsy it was as if someone, or something, was living inside her body. After watching what Bonnie's unusual abilities could do, Betsy noticed an aura about her friend that fascinated, and slightly troubled her. But, Betsy loved Bonnie and trusted her judgement; that steadfast trust would radically change their lives.Bonnie's ability to communicate with aliens allowed her to become the world-wide ambassador to the Centaurians. After years of peacefully co-existing with the aliens from the exoplanet, Proxima Centauri b, relations on Earth unexpectedly began to deteriorate. The extra-terrestrials had suddenly started to behave strangely, causing the world's anxiety to accelerate nearly to the point of mass hysteria. All the embassies at the Centaurian village were shut down, and transport to their massive Pacific Ocean compound was halted; earthlings were no longer allowed in. The invasion was planned for the fall of 2042. But, a full day ahead of the scheduled attack, the world was totally shocked when satellite imagery showed that the Centaurian's base was undergoing a colossal change; people believed it was the beginning of the Earth's eradication.
