Der Gegenstand dieser Arbeit ist die analytische Bewertung der bernahme von Reebok International Ltd. durch die adidas-Salomon AG. Es wird zun chst die Lage der Sportartikelindustrie vor der Akquisition beschrieben. Entwicklungen und Wachstumspotenziale werden er rtert, die die Basis f r zentrale Annahmen des DCF-WACC Bewertungsmodells darstellen. Zudem werden die vier gr ten Wettbewerber Nike, adidas, Reebok und Puma vorgestellt und anhand operativer Kennzahlen miteinander verglichen. Im Anschluss werden Gr nde f r und gegen die bernahme aus den gewonnenen Erkenntnissen abgeleitet. Darauf aufbauend erfolgt die Ermittlung des Fundamentalwertes von Reebok als selbstst ndiges Unternehmen. Methodologisch wird hierbei auf Multiplikatoren von vergleichbaren Konkurrenten sowie eine DCF-WACC-Bewertung zur ckgegriffen. Um den Wert von Reebok f r den strategischen K ufer adidas festzustellen, werden zus tzlich die Synergien bewertet, die infolge des Zusammenschlusses der beiden Unternehmen entstehen k nnten. Die Bewertung dieser Synergien basiert ebenfalls auf einem DCF-Modell sowie auf Multiplikatoren vergleichbarer Transaktionen. Als Resultat der unterschiedlichen Bewertungsans tze entstehen Wertspannen f r den Fundamentalwert von Reebok sowie f r m gliche Synergien, anhand derer gepr ft wird, ob die von adidas gezahlte bernahmepr mie angemessen ist. Auch wird die Reaktion der M rkte auf die Transaktion untersucht. Mittels Ereignisstudien f r die Aktien von Reebok und adidas werden abnormale Renditen gemessen, deren Auswertung eine Aussage dar ber erm glicht, welche Synergien die Kapitalm rkte durch den Zusammenschluss erwarten. Anhand von Ereignisstudien f r die Aktien von Nike und Puma zum bernahmezeitpunkt kann dar ber hinaus festgestellt werden, ob der Markt an einen langfristigen Erfolg von adidas/Reebok im Konkurrenzkampf mit Nike und Puma glaubt. The present book outlines a new approach to possibilistic clustering in which the sought clustering structure of the set of objects is based directly on the formal definition of fuzzy cluster and the possibilistic memberships are determined directly from the values of the pairwise similarity of objects. The proposed approach can be used for solving different classification problems. Here, some techniques that might be useful at this purpose are outlined, including a methodology for constructing a set of labeled objects for a semi-supervised clustering algorithm, a methodology for reducing analyzed attribute space dimensionality and a methods for asymmetric data processing. Moreover, a technique for constructing a subset of the most appropriate alternatives for a set of weak fuzzy preference relations, which are defined on a universe of alternatives, is described in detail, and a method for rapidly prototyping the Mamdani’s fuzzy inference systems is introduced. Gauge field theories underlie all models now used in elementary particle physics. These theories refer to the class of singular theories which are also theories with constraints. The quantization of singular theories remains one of the key problems of quantum field theory and is being intensively discussed in the literature. This book is an attempt to fill the need for a comprehensive analysis of this problem, which has not heretofore been met by the available monographs and reviews. The main topics are canonical quantization and the path integral method. In addition, the Lagrangian BRST quantization is completely described, for the first time in a monograph. The book also presents a number of original results obtained by the authors, in particular, a complete description of the physical sector of an arbitrary gauge theory, quantization of singular theories with higher theories with time-dependent constraints, and correct derivatives, quantization of canonical quantization of theories of a relativistic point-like particle. As a general illustration we present quantization of field theories such as electrodynamics, Yang-Mills theory, and gravity. It should be noted that this monograph is aimed not only at giving the reader the rules of quantization according to the principle "if you do it this way, it will be good", but also at presenting strong arguments based on the modem interpretation of the classical and quantum theories which show that these methods· are the natural, if not the only possible ones.
