Series And Approximation: American Mathematical Society Translations, Series 1, V3 is a book written by Ya. L. Geronimus. It is a collection of mathematical papers on the topics of series and approximation, translated from Russian into English by the American Mathematical Society. The book is part of the AMS Translations series, which aims to make important mathematical works from other languages accessible to English-speaking audiences. The papers in this volume cover a wide range of topics related to series and approximation, including Fourier series, Chebyshev polynomials, and the approximation of functions by polynomials. The book is intended for mathematicians and students with an interest in these areas of mathematics.Additional Contributors Are S. B. Steckin, And S. N. Mergelyan. Translated By R. P. Boas, Jr. And Others. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.

Eksperyment ten przeprowadzono w celu określenia ochronnego wplywu metanolowego ekstraktu Digera muricata (L.) Mart. na uszkodzenia tkanek wątroby szczur w wywolane akrylamidem na poziomie histologicznym i biochemicznym. Czterdzieści osiem zdrowych samic szczur w albinos w, ważących 190-200 g, zostalo dostarczonych przez Animal House of National Institute of Health (NIH) Islamabad i bylo utrzymywanych w Primate Facility utrzymywanym na Uniwersytecie Quaid-i-Azam w Islamabadzie. Spośr d nich grupa I pozostala grupą kontrolną, podczas gdy grupa II byla leczona DMSO w dawce 5,0 ml/kg m.c. (masy ciala) doustnie raz dziennie przez pięc tygodni. Grupie III podawano 200 mg/kg m.c. metanolowego ekstraktu z Digera muricata rozpuszczonego w DMSO raz dziennie przez pięc tygodni. Pozostale szczury podzielono na pięc grup i podawano im wodny roztw r akrylamidu w dawce 6 mg/kg m.c. dożylnie raz dziennie przez dwa tygodnie. Grupa IV zostala uśmiercona po leczeniu akrylamidem w celu pobrania surowicy i wątroby. Grupa V pozostala nieleczona przez resztę eksperymentu. Grupom VI, VII i VIII podawano 100, 150 i 200 mg/kg m.c. metanolowego ekstraktu z Digera muricata.
