Kea Petrova is dealing with more than her fair share of trouble. At just twenty-five years old, she’s the youngest of five Hawaiian clan leaders living on the Homestead in outer Los Angeles following catastrophic flooding. Kea struggles to keep her small clan afloat, scraping together rent each month through odd jobs and selling her own crafted Hawaiian language spells. Just when she thinks things can’t get any more complicated, the murder of Angelo Reyes—LA’s most prominent Filipino activist—turns her world upside-down. Angelo was killed by a death spell—something that, due to the properties of each school of language magic, can only exist in Hawaiian. With independent spellsmithing being technically illegal, Kea quickly becomes the prime suspect, known for her spellwork on the Homestead. To clear her name, she must unravel the mystery behind Angelo’s murder and confront LA’s most powerful (and dangerous) players, each wielding their own type of magic. The clock is ticking—can Kea save herself, her clan, and the Homestead before it’s too late?
Journey Bacon has grown up in a quiet, small town in the American heartland, convinced her life is already written-working at the local bank and marrying the same controlling man she's dated since high school. But when a friend gives her an old dance card with a mysterious past and a promise she must keep, everything changes. The card leads Journey toward an unexpected gift-a voice made for singing country music-and a path back to the last person she ever thought she'd love: the boy she grew up with and once swore she'd never speak to again. As sparks fly between them, secrets surface, and the small-town gossip mill hums louder than a jukebox on Saturday night. Journey must decide if she'll keep living the safe life she's always known-or follow the song in her heart toward love, freedom, and the stage lights of her dreams. A small-town enemies-to-lovers country romance filled with second chances, southern charm, mystery, and the sweet twang of heartache and hope-perfect for readers who enjoy Nashville-style romance, women's fiction with music, and emotional stories of finding yourself.
Jericho McGovern doesn't believe in fairy tales. She believes in working doubles, locking doors, and getting through another night alive. But everywhere Jericho tries to settle, the same thing happens. The dead wake up. The towns explode in violence. And by the time she understands what's wrong, the place is already becoming a ghost town. Dragging along three kids her ex-boyfriend left behind and an Irish fairy that refuses to leave her body, Jericho can't stay anywhere long enough to call it home. Every refuge collapses around them-marked by banshee cries, restless dead, and ancient beings drawn from Irish folklore that don't care who survives as long as the land is cleared. This isn't a haunting. It's a pattern. As the boundary between the living and the otherworld thins, Jericho uncovers a brutal truth: she isn't just passing through these cursed towns. She's the reason they're dying. A dark fantasy horror novel steeped in Irish mythology, ghost lore, and supernatural suspense, Ghost Town is perfect for readers who love eerie folklore, haunted places, relentless dread, and flawed heroines fighting impossible odds. And if Jericho can't figure out why it's happening-there won't be anywhere left to run.
