Il parle aussi des enjeux culturels entre les Toubous, peuple saharien et leurs voisins arabes, les Libyens...Ce livre d crit les motivations des r volt s paysans, leveurs ou p cheurs qui ont adh r au Frolinat, la r bellion tchadienne. Il fait ressortir les difficult s rencontr es par les hommes politiques qui ont voulu faire de ces rebelles le bras arm des id ologies politiques. Le r cit s'arr te en 1982 quand l'auteur a eu 18ans. Les conditions cr es ont permis l' lection d'une Assembl e Nationale plurielle o ont si g 11 partis politiques. C'est la premi re Assembl e Nationale multipartite depuis 1961. Elle a t install e le 4 avril 1997. Elle a commenc adopter des lois qui doivent donner la forme au nouvel Etat.Les pages qui suivent pr sentent quelques sujets qui n'ont pas t ex cut s conform ment aux pr visions de la Conf rence Nationale Souveraine ou qui ont attir l'attention de l'opinion nationale sans conna tre un aboutissement.
