I am 21 years of age and I have discovered that I am the first and only human clone. Questions: Who am I? What am I? Do I have a soul? Do I share a soul? Am I a real person or just a copy, a shadow of a donor? I visited with Dr. Ahmann who performed the cloning twenty-two years ago. He told me that there are no others to guide me, but I could probably have a normal life if I did not stress myself. There was no way I could stay here. I had to get away, away from everything familiar. I left Minnesota and took off for the mountains. In Montana, I picked up a hitchhiker, Billy Two Bears, who stayed with me for awhile. He told me of the Native American values and the true meaning of life. After a night of intimacy, he was gone. But he left me with words that I will never forget. I continued to the Canadian Rockies, to Banff, Lake Louise and Emerald Lake Lodge. I had been having some mini seizures, so it was time to head home. On my way back to the States, I picked up two female hitchhikers who taught me not to be afraid of the choices that I make. In Wyoming I stood before Devils Tower monument at dusk as fireflies twirled around me, illuminating the way as if they were spirits rising from the ground. At home I visited Dr. Ahmann again and I found that I am pregnant. My choices? I can have a full life, or I can have a baby, but I probably can't have both. So now I need to decide what I should do. Should I give life, and by doing so end life? Or should I end life and by doing so give life? And all I have left are Billy's words to show me the way.

Chloe is about a little girl who was raised in a dysfunctional home and went on to live a dysfunctional life—until God, in a wonderful way, saved her from the darkness and brought her into the light. Chloe is the first of a series called Chloe’s People, a reference to 1 Corinthians 11 in the Bible. Beginning with the story of Chloe, each subsequent book in the series tells the tale of God’s work in the lives of those who don’t even yet know Him, and then ties these characters somehow back to Chloe.
Chloe's life seems perfect. She has found true love, is an active member of her church, and her extraordinary talent for writing is on the brink of making a monumental impact. The movie she wrote is set to be released, promising to spread the gospel to an audience far and wide, potentially changing countless lives and bringing her dreams to fruition. However, beneath the surface of this idyllic existence lies a hidden truth that threatens to unravel everything. Chloe's mother, Mary, harbors a secret so devastating that it could strip away all that Chloe holds dear. As Chloe stands on the cusp of fulfilling her destiny, the revelation of Mary's secret looms ominously, ready to shatter Chloe's world. In this gripping tale of faith, love, and redemption, Chloe must navigate the treacherous waters of truth and deceit. Will her faith and resilience be enough to overcome the impending storm, or will Mary's secret destroy the life Chloe has so carefully built?

The first comprehensive overview of Chloe's collections presented through catwalk photography, published in collaboration with Chloe to celebrate the house's 70th anniversary in 2022. Founded by Egyptian-born Gaby Aghion in 1952, Chloe pioneered luxury ready-to-wear that was all about ease and femininity, offering an elegant haute bohemian style for the modern, liberated Parisienne. Resolutely contemporary, the house spotted and hired a young Karl Lagerfeld as early as the 1960s: he stayed for over two decades, achieving fame and recognition worldwide through his Chloe work, before Stella McCartney (and her then assistant Phoebe Philo) succeeded him straight out of fashion school. This definitive publication opens with a concise history of the house of Chloe before exploring the collections themselves, which are organized chronologically. Each new era in Chloe's history opens with a brief overview and biography of the new designer, while individual collections are introduced by a short text unveiling their influences and highlights, and illustrated with carefully curated catwalk images. A rich reference section, including an extensive index, concludes the book. After Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, Prada, Vivienne Westwood and Versace, Chloe is the eighth in a series of high-end, cloth-bound books that offer an unrivalled overview of the collections of the world's top fashion houses through original catwalk photography.
