Since prehistoric times, peoples the world over have believed in a creative force that inspires life. Throughout history it has been known by many names: mana, prana, ka, and chi, to name only a few. Much has been written about this energy and the ways in which it can be strengthened to enhance life and well-being as well as provide the basis for many of the Eastern martial arts, particularly tai chi chuan. But if chi is real, why is there so little scientific evidence for its existence or for the physiological structures that generate and channel it throughout the body? Moreover, what is the exact nature of chi, and how can it interact with physical reality in the sometimes esoteric ways that are reported? The Wellspring draws together, for the first time, two significant but disparate lines of scientific research that not only identify the physiological structures that produce and channel chi but that point to the true nature of this mysterious power.

Is Dad a Bad Word? You have heard it said, "boys will be boys." But in this book, "Boys Will Be Men", Christopher J. Weeks offers an up-close and personal view of how boys can and must become men, and eventually fathers. Sharing stories from his intimate experience with his own father, this book persuasively argues for the desperate need we all have for good dads.Topics include...Seeing life's difficult challenges as the road to manhood. How a real woman can tame a man.Why words from a father really matter. The importance of Laughing, Singing, and finding Delight in your kids.Perhaps the reason God the Father is not trusted in our culture is because we are bombarded with so many bad examples of human fathers. But in this book, you will get glimpses of how a good dad reflects the love and beauty of the Father who lives in heaven. Something society needs to witness more than ever.

Dear Reader, or potential reader. It is my intention to create books as a form of art, but also as something that teaches you things you did not know. I have thought in depth about the words that you may find in the title and I have written stories to explain how they are connected. All of this has been done in a somewhat humouristic, but most certainly honest fashion. My style of writing deviates from anything I have read. It is unique and so are you. What does your uniqueness have to do with finding happiness in your life? That my friend, you have to find out for your self. The price of my books is the value that I give my self for writing it. Please consider beforehand, whether you would like to spend time with my thoughts and ideas. If you want to find out more about me and my art, check out my website: www.christopher-reusch.com Love, Christopher

A universal story about the everlasting bonds of friendship and love, from two award-winning creators. There are some things that only a best friend can do--hold your hand when reading a scary story, carry you safely across a river, bandage your hurts, say it's okay if you're grouchy, and best of all, forever hold you in their heart. Through a series of questions and answers, Bear tells his friend Rat that best friends will always be together, in rain or shine, in good times and bad, forever and ever.

The This Handbook Will Change Your Life series is part of the This Blog Will Change Your Life cultural and lifestyle empire. The Handbooks are brimming with esoterica and ephemera, and they are life-changing, yes always, that is our mission. There is also humor and science, personal stories and tips. The following is an excerpt from This Handbook Will Change Your Life 002 - DEBT: "Are you hungry the way I used to be? "When I was a culinary student, I was always hungry and thought people will need to eat, too. They will always need me here for that and I'd always have a job because of that. I wrote and travelled, too. These were a few of the things I needed, things I was hungry for. But culinary school was a debt to society. I worked full-time as a hospital cook for years, sometimes shutting down two kitchens in what would be a fifteen hour day on my feet, including the sixty minute commute to the community college. "I'm sorry. You're hungry. I mean, are you hungry enough for what I can make you?"
