The opening of the Ring gates creates unlimited possibilities for new adventures in The Expanse RPG and Beyond the Ring gives GMs all the tools they need to support stories like the novel Cibola Burn. The Ring gates are open, as The Expanse RPG advances its timeline to the fourth novel in the series, Cibola Burn. The Ring, a massive construct created by the protomolecule out near the orbit of Uranus, is a portal into a strange non-space known as “the Slow Zone.” Centered on an ancient alien station, it connects to more than a thousand other portals to a thousand different star systems, each with one or more worlds shaped by the ancient aliens who created the protomolecule and intended to do the same to Earth. Now they are long gone, and vast frontiers have opened for human settlement and exploration. Beyond the Ring details the Slow Zone, Medina Station, travel through the Ring gates, and some of the many systems found beyond them, along with tools for Game Masters to design their own systems for characters to explore. Beyond the Ring opens up a whole new type of adventure for The Expanse RPG, as characters travel to distant star systems and face unknown perils!

The first comprehensive study of Indian residential schools in the North In this ground-breaking book, Crystal Gail Fraser draws on Dinjii Zhuh (Gwitch’in) concepts of individual and collective strength to illuminate student experiences in northern residential schools, revealing the many ways Indigenous communities resisted the institutionalization of their children. After 1945, federal bureaucrats and politicians increasingly sought to assimilate Indigenous northerners—who had remained comparatively outside of their control—into broader Canadian society through policies that were designed to destroy Indigenous ways of life. Foremost among these was an aggressive new schooling policy that mandated the construction of Grollier and Stringer Halls: massive residential schools that opened in Inuvik in 1959, eleven years after a special joint committee of the House of Commons and the Senate recommended that all residential schools in Canada be closed. By Strength, We Are Still Here shares the lived experiences of Indigenous northerners from 1959 until 1982, when the territorial government published a comprehensive plan for educational reform. Led by Survivor testimony, Fraser shows the roles both students and their families played in disrupting state agendas, including questioning and changing the system to protect their cultures and communities. Centring the expertise of Knowledge Keepers, By Strength, We Are Still Here makes a crucial contribution to Indigenous research methodologies and to understandings of Canadian and Indigenous histories during the second half of the twentieth century.

If we are choosing a crystal and feel drawn to a particular one, this is because it is either in harmony with our own energy vibration or perhaps it has some essential qualities within its energy that will benefit us in some way, to raise our vibrations. Crystal healers work with this energy by feeling what an individual requires in terms of re-balancing or emotional healing; and then choosing a crystal or crystals that will help that person to heal themselves and re-achieve harmony within their emotional and physical bodies. And now, so can you
Unlock Your Life With Pendulum Dowsing: Crystals In Your Life
You obtain a crystal because it will be either in harmony with your personal energy vibration or else it possesses some essential qualities within its energy that will benefit you in some way. If your wish is to heal yourself (or indeed others) or simply want some crystal energized interior design pieces, in fact whatever your motivation for bringing crystals into your life, they will always be adding layers to the beauty of your life experience. This book includes a directory of crystals and so many practical ways to integrate crystals into your everyday lifestyle. I adore crystals and I equally love dowsing. I hope during the course of this book I have inspired you sufficiently to discover more for yourself. Dowsing is experiential, and by this experience we grow as people. Pretty much regardless of our wish to heal ourselves (or others) or if we simply want some natural interior design pieces, whatever our motivation for bringing crystals into our lives, they are adding layers to the beauty of our experience. As I say in all of my workshops and dowsing books, what I am aiming for is teaching people to be able to trust in their intuition or gut feeling all the more, you and I have the perfect tool to help us achieve this - our dowsing pendulum.

Crystal traces the arc of one woman’s experience after the discovery that her partner is addicted to crystal meth. In a highly original poetic act of reclamation, it plunders the drug itself and makes of it an overarching conceit to articulate the devastating impact of living with a loved one who is utterly changed. Deeply felt, tirelessly inventive, this collection will resonate with anyone who has experienced addiction’s explosive effect within a family. At the same time it speaks universally and with urgency of the power of poetry to take one through the darkest of times. Crystal is Ellen Cranitch's second collection, following The Immortalist (Templar Press), which was shortlisted for the Seamus Heaney Prize for Best Collection 2018.
