The information within will clearly demonstrate that an RV "house" battery is NOT like a car "starting" battery, and give everyone the background to understand just how many different "things" in their RV are actually powered by 12-Volts, as well as why this system is considered to be the RV's "lifeblood." Additionally, this Primer endeavors to help all readers establish a good working knowledge of "basic" 12-Volt RV Electricity. Principally, a knowledge level that will enable each reader to start thinking in terms of efficient "maintenance and use" of their 12-Volt system, and, thus, preventing the proverbially frustrating, "I Think The Batteries Are Dead? " . . . The included Editorial Comments embody the author's many years of hands-on experience: using and living in RV's, conducting the business of repairing RVs, and also specializing in educating the RV owners. Also included are lots of "tips and tricks" on how to help your RV's battery bank work more efficiently and "live" longer. . . . The ladies are especially encouraged to read everything between this book's covers. Unfortunately, it has been out of circulation far too long and not available for several editions as a stand-alone book. It was, however, offered as a free "bonus" book when purchasing the other three books ("Shore Power," "Appliances," and "Holding Tanks") as a set. . . . Ideally, as a publishing company, we would like make up for the angst many readers have expressed because of its stand-alone scarcity and give the book away for free. Regrettably, to do so has proven to be very challenging. There are several "production" layers in a publication venture, which require financial compensation. . . . As a result, we are offering this updated (5th) edition of the "Battery Power" Primer to our readers for the cost of minimal fees - those required by others who are a part of the "production" process: Professional Preparation Fees, Printing Fees, Promotion Fees, and Sales Processing Fees, to name just a few. . . . It is appropriately referred to as a "Not-for-Profit" book because the author, while retaining his copyrights, is foregoing Royalty income from the sale of this special edition of "Battery Power."
