Zu diesem Zweck st tzte sich der theoretische Rahmen auf vier analytische Elemente: l ndliche Landschaft / Multifunktionalit t / externe Elemente der Landwirtschaft / endogene l ndliche Entwicklung (DINIZ, 1984, S.30 apud FERREIRA, S.50). Um die physischen Eigenschaften der Landschaft des Viertels zu charakterisieren, wurden bibliografisches und kartografisches Material sowie Niederschlagsdaten ausgewertet, die es erm glichten, die nat rlichen Bedingungen des Gebiets zu ermitteln. Durch direkte Forschung mit Feldbeobachtung und die Anwendung von Frageb gen wurde versucht, sozio konomische Daten sowie die in dem Gebiet vorhandenen touristischen und landschaftlichen Ressourcen zu erfassen, die es erm glichen, landwirtschaftliche und/oder nichtlandwirtschaftliche T tigkeiten als Besch ftigungs- und Einkommensalternativen zu entwickeln.Ziel war es, die Beschr nkungen und Schwierigkeiten in Bezug auf sozio konomische Aspekte, Infrastruktur und die physischen Eigenschaften der Landschaft zu verstehen, die die Entwicklung der lokalen Familien beeinflussen.

The book presents the results of an undergraduate project whose general aim was to identify and characterise the landscapes and multifunctional potential of small farms in the rural district of Itap - Rio Claro (SP). To this end, the theoretical framework was based on four analytical elements: rural landscape / multifunctionality / external elements of agriculture / endogenous rural development (DINIZ, 1984, p.30 apud FERREIRA, p.50). In order to characterise the physical attributes of the neighbourhood's landscape, a survey was carried out of bibliographic and cartographic material, as well as rainfall data, which enabled the area's natural conditions to be identified. Through direct research with field observation and the application of questionnaires, an attempt was made to collect socio-economic data and also the tourist and landscape resources that exist in the area that make it possible to develop agricultural and/or non-agricultural activities as alternatives for employment and income. The aim was to understand the limitations and difficulties in terms of socio-economic aspects, infrastructure and the physical attributes of the landscape that affect the development of local families.

Pour ce faire, le cadre th orique s'est appuy sur quatre l ments d'analyse: paysage rural / multifonctionnalit / l ments externes de l'agriculture / d veloppement rural endog ne (DINIZ, 1984, p.30 apud FERREIRA, p.50). Afin de caract riser les attributs physiques du paysage du quartier, une enqu te a t men e sur le mat riel bibliographique et cartographique, ainsi que sur les donn es pluviom triques, qui ont permis d'identifier les conditions naturelles de la zone. Par le biais d'une recherche directe avec observation sur le terrain et l'application de questionnaires, on a tent de recueillir des donn es socio- conomiques ainsi que les ressources touristiques et paysag res qui existent dans la zone et qui permettent de d velopper des activit s agricoles et/ou non agricoles en tant qu'alternatives pour l'emploi et le revenu. L'objectif tait de comprendre les limites et les difficult s en termes d'aspects socio- conomiques, d'infrastructures et d'attributs physiques du paysage qui affectent le d veloppement des familles locales.
