After the war, the three Williard Brothers are looking for any way to earn money that doesn't involve the dreaded routine of 9 to 5 drudgery. They failed in a hair-raising expedition to the Congo where they hoped to record the activities of the last living dinosaur. In fact, they almost got eaten by the dinosaur. Now they're on the trail of Bigfoot, or possibly an extraterrestrial alien. They have no idea which, but they have come into possession of a weird specimen. It is an over-large furred hand with claws that doesn't match any earthly creature. James Williard is the oldest brother and his sometimes girlfriend since the war, Terry Very, has left him again, causing them both to realize they should have stayed together. Terry follows the brothers to Alaska where Bigfoot is supposed to live--in the very wildest, unexplored area of the Brooks Mountain Range of Alaska. There they come together with Terry, and also the FBI, NSA, the New York Mafia and a Russian Spetsnaz team, all thinking it is an extraterrestrial they're after that may hold the key to the stars if they can capture it, alive or dead.
