John Dee's Diary, Catalogue of Manuscripts and Selected Letters
John Dee (1527–1608), popularly remembered as an alchemist and spiritualist, was an enthusiastic scholar specialising in mathematics and astronomy, and collected manuscripts, early printed books and scientific instruments. Despite meeting Elizabeth I in person, he never progressed in the Church, and died in poverty. The four selections from his writings reissued here show Dee painstakingly listing his books before a journey to Europe, and appealing to the Queen for help when, after a catastrophic burglary at his library and the destruction of his laboratory equipment, his pay also failed to arrive. J. O. Halliwell (1842) reproduces the full text of Dee's diaries with an index; James Crossley (1851) transcribes Dee's appeals to the Queen; Bailey's book (1880), of which only 20 copies were printed, contains a full commentary on the last five years of the diaries; and M. R. James (1920) researches the fate of Dee's books over the centuries.

[Dee-Kuhn-Struhk-Shuhn] of an Anomaly
"It was African American essayist James Baldwin who once famously opined that "The responsibility of a writer is to excavate the experience of the people who produced him." Bermuda-born, Atlanta-based, performance artist, thespian, director and poet, Tamicka Johnson, takes Baldwin's words to heart in her first book of poetry, the creatively titled [dee-kuhn-struhk-shuhn]of an Anomaly. Subject-wise, Johnson casts her net wide. Her musings illuminate the many challenges associated with how every one of us must, at some point in our sojourn through this life, grapple with the niggling universals of love, spirituality, passion, sex, disappointment, failure and success with a raw honesty and lyrical dexterity that is often as deeply painful as it is profoundly insightful." ~ Colwyn Burchall, Jr.

When I picked Lanzarote with its volcanoes - for me - and its camels - for Mum - for our holiday I never thought I'd meet up with Trevor (my age), his kid brother (the pain), Sandy Griffiths (the awful) and Ranolf Meredith (the puzzle). Or that Trevor would want to help with my Authoring. Or that we'd become Investigative Reporters. So what did that older Ranolf really want with the pretty, barely 13 year old Sandy? Was he one of those dangerous 'Internet Daters' we'd been warned about at school, trying it on in this holiday Complex? Or was he the 'Contact Man' for a gang of kidnappers as Sandy's parents were rich?

Six years' of intense research into Shakespeare's grave, monument, and Sonnets dedication, went into producing this ground-breaking work. Readers are taken on a fascinating journey in which they're guided to solve the codes that explain a hitherto completely unsuspected side to the greatest literary mystery ever. In a revelation of detective work, the author thoroughly documents the supporting role of Dr. John Dee, alchemist, mathematician, and leading cryptographer in the Elizabethan court. The codes predict an actual location - the Holy of Holies Altar Stone within the poet's church in Stratford-upon-Avon - where the Bard claims to have left physical evidence that may finally solve the centuries-old controversy surrounding his identity. A bold claim indeed Green knew that the only way to convince the world of such a wild hypothesis would be to conduct a truly audacious heist to secure the needed scientific proof. With the results of a covert radar scan conclusively validating the codes, Green has finally published this epic journey of discovery. In it he challenges the public to make their voices heard by going to www.ToBeOrNotToBe.org to cast their votes to open (or not ) the Altar. If the second part of the codes prove as accurate as the first, there's a priceless cultural treasure awaiting our discovery... the Holy Grail of Literature Read the entire story of this incredible journey of intrigue and mystery that will ultimately re-write history.
