An Appeal to the Public, (by F. and J. Noble, Booksellers) from the Aspersions Cast on Them by the Anonymous Editor of the London Magazine
The 18th century was a wealth of knowledge, exploration and rapidly growing technology and expanding record-keeping made possible by advances in the printing press. In its determination to preserve the century of revolution, Gale initiated a revolution of its own: digitization of epic proportions to preserve these invaluable works in the largest archive of its kind. Now for the first time these high-quality digital copies of original 18th century manuscripts are available in print, making them highly accessible to libraries, undergraduate students, and independent scholars.Delve into what it was like to live during the eighteenth century by reading the first-hand accounts of everyday people, including city dwellers and farmers, businessmen and bankers, artisans and merchants, artists and their patrons, politicians and their constituents. Original texts make the American, French, and Industrial revolutions vividly contemporary.++++The below data was compiled from various identification fields in the bibliographic record of this title. This book outlines my vocation as a priest. In it I focus on several important chapters of both my life and discernment on the path to ordination. Since each of us are created by God and called to some mission for His glory, we all have a story to tell. Writing this book has allowed me to reflect on my story and share it with you. In reading this I hope you see that God uses regular people to carry out His work here on earth. I am not a mystic, saint (yet!) or particularly holy (yet!) but have discovered the greatest gift of my life in the form of the priesthood. I pray this encourages you in wherever God may be calling and hope you find God's will for your life. Only then may we fulfill the words of St. Augustine, "Our hearts are restless until they rest in thee." God Bless!
