Eli, a kitten with a mission, sets out to do one simple task, locate the dogs that have infiltrated his pristine Catland and report their location to the Monarch's army. Sounds simple enough, after all, every cat is born with Cat Above given abilities such as seeing in the dark and sneaking around undercover. But Eli has never met a dog before because he comes from a land of cats ruled by Mother Nature, Father Time, and their four offspring-Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn. Eli exemplifies a person in ministry leadership who knows that there is wrongdoing and corruption but refuses to take care of business and instead attempts to ignore it. Suffering from disappointment in his offspring and with no one qualified to leave his legacy to, Eli opted to ignore the issues and the very obvious and well publicized sins of his family and allowed his life's work to crumble before his very eyes. When things fall apart an "Eli" acts surprised that things were so bad. To say that Eli "turned a blind eye" would be an understatement when compared to the damage that was allowed to continue not only in his family but in the Temple of God and in the lives of the people as a result of Eli's denial. Eli's ChurchBuster was justification of his actions instead of sanctification of his life. Eli also justified the sins of his sons instead of admonishing them to sanctify themselves and be holy. In his disappointment and self-indulgence along with an unwillingness to do what he had been called to do by the LORD, Eli failed to rule in his own house as well as in his own ministry and lived just long enough to see the judgement of the LORD upon his house and ministry. Eli Fischer-Jørgensen er en af Danmarks helt store videnskabskvinder. This volume was developed as part of a cooperative project of the European Law Institute (ELI) and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (Unidroit), dealing with civil procedure law. The long-term project began in February 2014, as a joint endeavour to adapt the American Law Institute/Unidroit Principles of Transnational Civil Procedure to the European legal environment, and ended in 2020 with the approval of the ELI-Unidroit Model European Rules of Civil Procedure. Featured in this volume, the Rules are accompanied by comments. They take into account the diverse traditions in Europe concerning civil procedure law and aim to find a common thread in them. Therefore, they not only consider the similarities but also the differences in order to gain a solution that does not favour one legal system but combines aspects of them all, fostering effectiveness and fairness in civil procedure. We are two families that worked together to expand one family. We, the authors, wanted the focus of this book to be about family growth, not just about surrogacy. We are individuals outside the LGBTQ2S+ community, and this book is from our perspective and a daughter's perspective. We wanted to ensure we were not speaking for other people. Our intention is that other families may enjoy and relate to this experience, or find commonalities with their own experience. Some families may find this to be a completely different experience from their own. Eli's baby story shows real people, blended families, natural parenting styles and above all, love.
