Emmanuel: Satisfying the Thirsty Soul is an uplifting educational book to help the reader understand the complexities of the Bible, and apply them to their daily life. It's the third book written by Andrea Rose Miller, a young woman who has experienced numerous miracles in her life. The book is organized into 15 chapters with 236 individual messages, providing brilliant insight to help the reader understand the scripture, with explanations and application to contemporary issues. It was written through direct inspiration from the Holy Spirit, as Andrea has witnessed these Biblical truths first-hand through multiple miracles in her life.Endorsement: Andrea Miller is an amazing young woman. She reads Scripture with child-like faith but then goes deeper, asks questions, studies, seeking deeper meaning. Her insights are often astounding. She has an earnestness to learn all she can about God, then lives that out with refreshing openness and vulnerability. She does not pretend to have all the answers; she seeks all the answers.Andrea's writings are a gift to anyone who also seeks insight and deeper meaning. She is honest and authentic; truly a gifted child of God with a higher purpose. This book is an invitation to take a walk with the Lord. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. -Jeri 29:13. -Rev. Larry Marshall, Pastor, Captiva Chapel by the Sea.About the Author: Starting at age one, Andrea has survived brain operations, epilepsy, strokes, and more. Adversity strengthened Andrea's faith, brought her closer to God, and provided her a forum to bring hope for others. The Holy Spirit revealed to Andrea the truths the Bible sets forth to be lived throughout one's life, which she shares in this book. Anchored in Christ, the storms in life are but mere side notes to the beautiful story God is writing.

While her own have been formidable, they convinced her at an early age that her life was in the hands of her Savior. She seems to have been guided by God. Andrea's knowledge of the Bible is awesome, but her ability to explain the meaning of the Bible's words to touch the hearts of everyday people is her talent. We are inspired by the wisdom she displays... and she tells us, "They are not my words; they are God's word."She walks the talk of "loving her neighbors" by raising funds for those less fortunate and by sharing her wisdom through this book of Bible-based devotionals. This book is a gift for everyone who would like to walk with Andrea and her God.She is a treasure for us.-Chip & Nancy Roach.About the Author: Starting at age one, Andrea has survived brain operations, epilepsy, strokes, and more. EMMANUEL IS THE SEVENTH BOOK IN THE BIRTH OF THE GODS SERIES. Starship Commander Seth Okanata has a spotless record with the Mayan Space Administration. However this hush-hush journey to Earth in the Orion Belt of the galaxy turns out to be the worst of his career. They do find rich deposits of copper on planet Earth, which they plan to mine in the near future. They also save the life of a religious prophet from Nazareth in Israel. On the negative side, they are boarded by a pirate and even though they neutralize him, they are tailed by the pirate starship until they reach Jupiter. Worse than that, there's a murder onboard. Rocket Mechanic Masal Djoser dies during an EVA under very suspicious circumstances. Security Chief Alto Bucolus has three suspects, Masal Djoser's wife, Elaina, Hector Copan, the man who was with Masal during the EVA, and none other than the commander himself, Seth Okanata. What makes this worse is that the most likely suspect is Masal's wife, Elaina Djoser, and, unfortunately, Seth is falling in love with her. In the end, Security Chief Alto Bucolus saves the day by doing what is morally right.

Emmanuel Levinas (1906-1995) is perhaps one of the best-kept philosophical secrets of recent times. By locating ethics as first philosophy, based on the call of the other, Levinas has revolutionized the Western philosophical tradition. In effect, the perennial priority of the self is displaced by the uncanny urgency of the other. Emmanuel: Levinas and Variations on God with Us gives the reader an introduction to the life and work of this humble philosophical genius. Several applications are made of Levinas's insights: interreligious dialogue, analytic versus continental philosophy, law and freedom, maternity, childhood, hermeneutics, and ethical contemplation. Most especially, Levinas is brought into lively conversation with Jean-Luc Marion. Levinas's phenomenology of proclamation is set in confrontation with Marion's phenomenology of manifestation throughout the book. Erotic love is met with a love filled with responsibilities for the other. Mount Carmel and Mount Zion face one another in a topography of the infinite. Readers will appreciate the variety of themes treated, as well as the dynamic interaction between philosophy and theology. Given the fragmented postmodern milieux of the world today, perhaps the philosophical intuitions of Emmanuel Levinas were prepared "for such a time as this" (Esth 4:14).
