The Franciscan Roger Bacon (c.1214–92?) was one of the most significant intellectuals of the thirteenth century. His most important work was the Opus Majus of 1267 (also available in this series). The works included in this volume, edited by J. S. Brewer, had not previously been published, and only one volume of the unpublished works ever appeared, because of Brewer's other commitments. The Opus Minus was a précis of the larger work, written at the same time. The Opus Tertium, written the following year, was Bacon's attempt to cover topics which he felt had been omitted, or inadequately explained, in the previous versions; it also includes autobiographical information. Neither the Opus Minus or Opus Tertium survive in their entirety, but Brewer includes all the parts known in 1859. The Compendium Philosophiae deals with Bacon's wide-ranging intellectual interests in all aspects of medieval scholarship.
The Meditations of Fr. E.S.Q.S.: Vol I.
"The Meditations of Fr. E.S.Q.S.: Vol I." is a collection of various meditations of mine, taken from various (free and widely accessible) sources, bound together, and printed for your convenience. It is a luxury product, not a necessity. Buying a copy of this book of mine is, in a sense, like making a donation to my continued efforts as a (esoteric) writer - save that you get something in return for your donation. Meditations included are as follows: The Essence of Religion In the Service of Our Lord A Short Meditation on the Glamour of Glory Conscious Expressions and Telepathy On Teaching Esoterics PART I On The Uselessness of Clairvoyance Speculation on Esoterics The Danger of Lower Siddhis or Psychic Powers The Meaning of "Maya" Plato and the Unexamined Life The Meaning and Purpose of Life Writing as Meditation

After many travels throughout his five years in Rome, Fr. Dave, a plumber turned Catholic priest, brings some common sense to traveling. This book is written for American seminarians and priests studying at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, but can be very useful to anyone. This is an easy and fun read, using many stories to explain different thoughts and lessons learned throughout Fr. Dave's travels. I hope you find it fun, useful, uplifting, and inspiring. God bless you!

There are some people in this world that just seem to "get" it. This phrase might seem a bit cliche or trite. Yet it becomes clear to those who experience this type of person that a close connection with the Creator and fresh perspective on life are the keys to this holy kind of contentment.
