The work was carried out on Chikklingdalli water body from December 2015 to November 2017. To investigate the physic-chemical parameters, Zooplankton diversity, fish diversity, pollution status of the water body. The study may be concluded that the hydrobiological parameters of the Chikklingdalli water body were within normal range. The result indicates no pollution as for as water studies are concerned. The seasonal variation in the abundance of rotifer, cladocera, copepod and ostracoda revealed that the abundance was relatively maximum during summer season and minimum during southwest monsoon season in Chikllingdalli water body. The great difference in diversity of zooplankton biomass and number might be related to ecological fluctuations. The relative abundance of the rotifers, cladocera, copepod and ostracoda difference among species considerably reflected through the statistical analysis. Fish species are also good in number. However, further studies are required to identify the preferences for the specific species of the zooplankton by the fish species. Such studies may enable utilizing the zooplankton species with higher precision and enhancing and productivity of the fish.

The book examines how since his appointment to China's three top posts - simultaneously for the first time in 30 years - Xi Jinping has deftly used ideology and nationalism to accumulate power and ensure the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s legitimacy and monopoly on power. Xi Jinping has imposed progressively stricter domestic measures leading to the steady hardening and inflexibility of the Chinese state. It looks at the reforms in the Party, Government and Military and the unprecedentedly sustained and bruising drive against corruption in the People's Liberation Army (PLA). India, Japan and the USA's response will be important.

When available, the information is piecemeal and scattered and, therefore, denied to most except those who make determined efforts. This book is an initial attempt to make pertinent information on Tibet readily available to an interested reader. The emphasis is on presenting biographical sketches of the relatively more important cadres to enable the analyst and reader to form an impression about the individual, his future career prospects and possibly his affiliations. The book briefly discusses the Aid Tibet Programme. Biology has captivated the imagination of researchers with diverse backgrounds as never before. For example, physicists are now exploring the origin and consequence of noise in gene expression, which appears to be important in epigenetic phenomena. Engineers are looking at biological systems from a design perspective. No doubt, conventional biologists will continue to provide insights by combining conventional approaches with high-throughput ones. These diverse efforts have resulted in the disintegration of biology into sub-disciplines. This is unavoidable because biology is inherently complex. No matter which branch of biology one studies, if the ultimate goal is to understand biology as a unitary subject, we then need to integrate these seemingly disparate aspects into a coherent whole. This is what I have attempted to do in this book. Galactose-metabolizing enzymes are expressed in yeast upon exposure to gal- tose but not to glucose. This observation, first made more than a century ago, was to later become a paradigm par excellence with wide-ranging implications. The problem to be tackled here was how yeast (or any organism) adapts to changing environmental conditions. This fundamental problem continues to keep us occupied even today. Come to think of it, for survival, organisms ought to adapt. Therefore, it is not surprising that adaptation transcends every conceivable biological process that goes on in a living system.

In this book, a programming model is developed that addresses the fundamental issues of "large-scale programming," unifying several concepts from database theory, object-oriented programming and designs of reactive systems. The model and the associated theory have been christened "Seuss." The major goal of Seuss is to simplify multiprogramming. To this end, we separate the concern of concurrent implementation from the core program design problem. A program execution is understood as a single thread of control - sequential executions of actions that are chosen according to some scheduling policy - yet program implementation permits concurrent executions of multiple threads. As a consequence, it is possible to reason about the properties of a program from its single execution thread, whereas an implementation may exploit the inherent concurrency for efficient execution.
