《鬼之魅》是《狐之惑》的姊妹篇，是《故园》三部曲的第二部。《鬼之魅》的故事是《狐之惑》的继续，紧接着《狐之惑》的故事而发展。故事仍然是发生在孟家集。一九六四年的四清运动在党中央的指引下，向纵深发展，朱大宝又回到了孟家集参与四清运动的领导工作。由于孟家集是主要由孟姓和樊姓两大家族组成的，这两个家族在历史上结下了不小的恩怨，小说先是回顾了老地主孟宪魁的发家史，孟宪魁依靠其弟弟在国民革命军中的势力，并且平定了盘踞在家乡一带的土匪刘三麻子，平定土匪后将土匪的浮财留在了家里，并且也给家里留下了一些枪支，因为有了钱，孟三猴从一个穷帮工一下子成为了孟家集的风云人物，他竟敢在县长来为其母祝寿时，说县长肥得和猪一样。三猴利用民国十八年年馑的契机，开始大量购买土地，在这过程中与樊姓的樊镇国兄弟发生冲突，三猴通过手段彻底征服了樊家，拔掉了这颗眼中刺。解放了，孟三猴被评为地主，土地全部没收但是三猴更是看穿世事，规劝当日的死对头樊定国尽快入社。樊氏家族中的老红军樊老四回来了，老革命暗中支持樊氏家族在村子里的行动，民兵连长孟海明因为当年曾经和樊氏的一个小寡妇有染，所以被樊氏家族记恨，使得他以贫协主席代理队长处处受到掣肘。四清运动终于熄火了，好心人老樊明也死了，樊明在他死前追问自己的好友老地主三猴为什么是个破烂地主，才知道拥有一千两百多亩地的老地主三猴，将自己大部分的财产全部支援到了抗日前线，资助他的弟弟。文化大革命开始了，满脑袋高粱花子的乡民们讨论海瑞到底是谁，为什么会被罢官。省城里的红卫兵来了，沿着陇海铁路一直往西，传播造反和革命的理念。孟家集成立了两个红卫兵组织， 一个是以孟立坚为首的以孟姓人为主的毛泽东思想造反团，一个是以樊无江为首的以樊姓人为主的擒魔战斗队，一山难容二虎，擒魔战斗队在造反团的打击下迅速土崩瓦解，而造反团则一家独大，孟立坚本来是一个神棍，靠装神弄鬼骗钱，副司令孟志杰是一个色鬼，经常糟蹋良家妇女，而狗头军师刘守忠则老谋深算，这三条毒蛇趁着运动各自追逐自己的利益。孟宪云师长从县公交局长的位子上退休回来，结果遭到孟立坚的私下里勒索要钱，为了索要金钱，孟立坚打死了老实巴交的老地主的三弟孟宪锋。孟志杰则诱奸了美丽的播音员樊彩霞。多行不义必自毙，孟立坚的倒行逆驶的孟志杰的胡作非为终于引来了众怒，第二次夺权开始了，孟立坚的丑恶嘴脸被揭露，孟志杰莫名其妙地被人阉了，孟家集的运动的发展终于走上了正规，语录操，忠字舞在孟家集掀起了一个新的高潮，可怜的彩霞姑娘远嫁了，谷雨把忠字舞跳得美仑美奂，清风加入了红卫兵，竟然对自己的继父朱大宝挥起了皮带，打得朱大宝头破血流，一个人妖颠倒的时代开始了......
《鬼之魅》是《狐之惑》的姊妹篇，是《故园》三部曲的第二部。《鬼之魅》的故事是《狐之惑》的继续，紧接着《狐之惑》的故事而发展。红色风暴战斗队夺取了孟家集的领导权之后，在孟家集开始了大跳忠字舞，大唱语录歌，大作语录操的活动，并且开始了早请示，晚汇报，三忠于和四无限等一系列花里胡哨的形式上的东西。这些从形式上图解政治意图的努力使得这些老实巴交的乡民们出尽洋相。而与此同时，语录岗也就产生了。在渭塬县城，宝鸡地区甚至省城西安，各种名目繁多的造反派组织应运而生。这些造反组织都认为自己是代表着毛主席的无产阶级革命路线的，渭塬县县委书记徐怀玉在被造反派的批斗过程中，被当时的造反派成员，绛帐中学的学生朱三宝一脚从高台上踹下去而摔死，终于死在了他为之奋斗了一生的故乡里。孟家集此刻也是一片混乱，窄棱子樊定国不服民兵排长孟二牛代理生产队长而与之发生冲突，引起了三小队家族之间的械斗，二牛被打得住了医院，樊定国被捆了起来，并且赔偿了二牛的医疗费和误工费，他家里参与斗殴的人在小队里接受批判，彻底刹了樊定国的威风。清风回到村里参加劳动，结识了队里的两个奇人。一个是水嘴孟九，一个是管制分子孟子文。孟九在年轻时比较孟浪，把自己的老婆卖给了本村的财主樊举，后来就成了壮丁专业户。斗批改运动中，孟九吃上了忆苦思甜饭，然而终因阶级觉悟太低，被轰下了忆苦思甜的主席台。孟子文是孟宪云的大儿子，抗美援朝时入朝作战受伤被俘，战后回来由于在战俘营的表现说不清楚，政治审查无法过关，从而被送回老家管制使用。清风和孟子文成了莫逆之交，他发现孟子文很有文化，于是就跟孟子文重新学习文化课知识。就在这一年，王建国入伍了，入伍前给谷雨写了一封情书让清风转交。民主补课开始了，孟家集的几家富裕中农都忐忑不安，樊举早已经死了，在孟九的保护下，没有补定上富农成分，而根成和樊定国却被补定成富农成分，刚在解放前几年因得外财而发家的根成终于因此而撒手人寰。清理阶级队伍的运动又开始了。孟志平调到了公社里，担任了公社革委会副主任，樊云纲去了县氮肥厂当了工人。樊云纲把谷雨介绍到了县文化馆，樊云纲内心喜欢谷雨，而谷雨对此却浑然不知。孟家集终于通电了，朴实的乡民们为此进行了庆祝活动。这一年大学终于招生了，孟志平和樊云纲都被推荐成了工农兵学员，清风在这一年也被选拔到新成立的信陵高中去继续上学。王建国当兵后被送到了青海的格尔木，成了青藏线上的一名汽车兵。在新的岗位上，王建国也开始了自己新的生活。一个新时代来临了

The purpose is to help readers acquire an insight into the concept and principle of the SIAR, to know its operation mode, signal processing method, the difference between the traditional radar and itself, the designing ideals, and the developing method. It includes 10 chapters. Chapter 1 gives an introduction to the basic principle of SIAR and its characteristic of four antis. Chapter 2 introduces the operating principles and system constitution of SIAR. Chapter 3 presents the main waveforms and the corresponding signal processing methods. Over the course of the last two decades, novelist Karen Tei Yamashita has reshaped the Asian American literary imagination in profound ways. In Across Meridians, Jinqi Ling offers readers the most critically engaged examination to date of Yamashita's literary corpus. Crafted at the intersection of intellectual history, ethnic studies, literary analysis, and critical theory, Ling's study goes beyond textual investigation to intervene in larger debates over postmodern representation, spatial materialism, historical form, and social and academic activism. Arguing that Yamashita's most important contribution is her incorporation of a North-South vector into the East-West conceptual paradigm, Ling highlights the novelist's re-prioritization, through such a geographical realignment, of socio-economic concerns for Asian American literary criticism. In assessing Yamashita's works as such, Ling designates her novelistic art as a form of new Asian American literary avant-garde that operates from the peripheries of received histories, aesthetics, and disciplines. Seeking not only to demonstrate the importance of Yamashita's transnational art, Ling sets new terms for ongoing dialogues in Asian American literary and cultural criticism. As the largest international population studying abroad in the world, Chinese students’ learning experience in an intercultural environment calls for more attention. This book covers an array of problems common to Chinese students studying abroad and explores how these students academically adjust to an intercultural environment. It also highlights how they familiarize themselves with the education system, ranging from the types of courses, academic tasks and examinations to the structure of the education as a whole in the host country, as they negotiate the gulf between academic expectations at home versus those in the host university environment and communicate with domestic lecturers and students.

The main body of this study is organized non-chronologically into 8 chapters, with each designed to reflect how the field has been energized by its demographic transformation, its growing intellectual heterogeneity, its defining moments, and its cross-cutting relationship with the trends in other disciplines.
