Do you want to do something spectacular with your life? Maybe you just want to achieve a simple goal that has been eluding you for years. Whatever size your dream may be, this new self-help guide by an experienced Police Officer and mentor can help you achieve it. Seymour Council III has spoken with hundreds of teens in his capacity as a Police Officer and in his current position as the Sergeant of the Juvenile Unit/School Resource Officers. His own life experiences have taught him how to enthusiastically approach challenges. As such, he's combined his perspective with a program formed from his experiences and from conversations he's had with youths who were exposed to greater life challenges and those whose perception of themselves was low. The result is the W.I.N.N.E.R. system, which lays down basic steps anyone can follow to achieve personal success in life. Council was originally inspired by athletes. Sports provides a solid framework for approaching problems and visualizing goals. Council uses sports terminology to connect with readers and help create a goal-oriented mentality. This program can be followed by anyone from their early teens to early twenties and beyond. If you need a little focus in your life or are a mentor or loved one to someone needing the same, this book will provide a step-by-step plan for success.
Feelings of being unloved, unwanted, and neglected can cause a person to seek attention in all the wrong places and cause them to end up being abused by people they love. Abuse will cause a person to isolate themselves into a corner, needing help, but sometimes too ashamed or embarrassed to ask. They do not want anyone to know they were beaten and are vulnerable. There comes a time in your life when you have to stand up and live. Author Stacci McElveen takes you on a journey of acknowledging the broken person until you find the whole one. You cry because you can see HER, you even dream about HER, but you don't know how to get to HER. The "HER" who has moved on and is healed eventually realizes that the only person who can stop you from being the blessed individual you were destined to become is you.

Metamorphia is essentially a tale of fulfilment. It is set in an uncertain place, in an uncertain time, but has features that everyone can identify with. The main characters comprise a witch, a dragon, a duke and a small boy, all of whom share a commonality - they are seeking for something that they lack in their life. The witch hopes for love, the dragon contentment, the duke recognition and the small boy friendship. They do find that for which they are searching, but not from the source they had expected. For some of them, and other characters, they do not even know what it is they are searching for until they are finally presented with it. Add the ambiguities and indecision of officialdom to passion and everlasting hope and you have a complete story which tugs at the heart.
