THE ERROR OF INERRANCY is a concise and unassailable refutation of the false doctrine of Biblical inerrancy. It tells a hard truth that many Christians don't want to hear, but it's a message that's long overdue. NOTE: This is only a short pamphlet and not a full-length book.
Timo Lest, East Timor. Administration and Governance. Our ancestors lived in harmony with the environment using it sustainably to support our families. The Government will draw on the strong bond between the Timorese people and the natural environment to ensure that the economy grows in harmony with the natural environment, which will entail traditional practises like "tarabando" in every suco. The Government aims to make Timor-Leste an international model for sustainable development. This effort will start in our schools, where students will be taught about the importance of the protection and conservation of the environment. This will give students a better understanding of the environment and they, in turn, will pass this understanding on to their children. The Government intends to strengthen the enforcement of environmental laws and regulations and the promotion of sustainable development in programs of environmental awareness, conservation of environmental resources and other forms of intervention, so as to ensure that national development is achieved in an ecological manner. The goal is to have sustainable economic growth by way of a harmonious interaction between human beings and the environment.

Efficient energy management and effective conservation procedures have been very important considerations for our society for many years. An oil embargo in the 1970s and early 1980s brought about a new awareness of energy conservation. Because of various factors like loss of tax credits and efficiency standards imposed by the government, public interest dropped considerably in regard to energy conservation. A revival in energy conservation among the general public occurred following the Persian Gulf War in the early 1990s.What does the 21st century hold? Conflicts in the Middle East, high prices for petroleum, and increasing population worldwide will all be significant influences on energy and its conservation. Considerable discussion of climate change, global warming, and increased concerns in regard to our electricity supply have provided motivation for building energy demand to be more flexible. Energy Management and Conservation, Fourth Edition, provides a very practical discussion of how energy can be managed and saved in most types of buildings. This edition not only updates the previous edition but adds updated content concerning energy cost reduction/going green to improve the environment. The authors of this book have written several books that use the systems approach. Through the use of the systems approach, the reader will be able to grasp how different parts of a building fit together to form a unit that uses energy efficiently. This text provides a thorough and practical discussion of the operation of systems that are found in most types of buildings. Each system is discussed with energy management and conservation in mind/going green to save money and improve the environment. There are many ways to manage a building to accomplish efficient energy conservation. Several of the chapters have checklists at the end to summarize ways of conserving energy that relate to the chapter.Important changes in this edition include coverage of governmental requirements from agencies such as Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), United States Department of Energy (USDOE), and American Society of Refrigerating, Heating and Air-Conditioning Engineering (ASHRAE), updated as of 2022 standards. Instrumentation updates include types of sensors and the concept of "smart" devices such as meters. Addition of computer building maintenance management systems and new updates for renewable energy resources are included. Enhancements to existing systems content (such as variable frequency drives for pumps) have been carefully added.
The Baton Rouge Bus Boycott was the first large-scale bus boycott by Blacks of the segregated bus system in the United States. In June of 1953, Martha White, who was a 23-year-old Black housekeeper, refused to move from the Whites Only Section of the city-owned segregated bus. The Black church and community came together both legally and physically. Within days, the impact to the city-owned segregated buses demanded public policy changes in Baton Rouge. Discover how hidden figures like Martha White and unsung heroes of the Baton Rouge Bus Boycott created the blueprint for the Free Ride System. This is a coloring book of a poem that reflects people around that time, historical places, and sequential events of the Baton Rouge Bus Boycott in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Two years later in 1955, Rosa Parks was arrested for sitting in the Whites Only section of a segregated bus. Consequently, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. led a 13-month bus boycott in Montgomery, Alabama modeled after the Baton Rouge Bus Boycott's blueprint. The Montgomery Bus Boycott ended when the Supreme Court ruled segregation on public buses was unconstitutional.
Mark has a decision to make that will literally decide his fate. We will follow Mark as he figures out which direction he will need to go in order to escape the ugly that is about to happen on Earth.
It is 1861, and Albertian Britain is in the grip of conflicting forces. Engineers transform the landscape with bigger, faster, noisier and dirtier technological wonders; Eugenicists develop specialist animals to provide unpaid labour; Libertines oppose restrictive and unjust laws and flood the country with propaganda demanding a society based on beauty and creativity; while The Rakes push the boundaries of human behaviour to the limits with magic, sexuality, drugs and anarchy. Returning from his failed expedition to find the source of the Nile, explorer, linguist, scholar and swordsman Sir Richard Francis Burton finds himself sucked into the perilous depths of this moral and ethical vacuum when the Prime Minister, Lord Palmerston, employs him as 'King's Spy'. His first mission: to investigate the sexual assaults committed by a weird apparition known as Spring Heeled Jack; to find out why chimney sweeps are being kidnapped by half-man, half-dog creatures; and to discover the whereabouts of his badly injured former friend, John Hanning Speke.Accompanied by the diminutive and pain-loving poet, Algernon Swinburne, Burton's investigations lead him back to one of the defining events of the age: the brutal assassination of Queen Victoria in 1840; and the terrifying possibility that the world he inhabits shouldn't exist at all.

A Beginner's Guide to Mark is just that; it is a comprehensive explanation of Mark, Mark's audience, and the culture in which Mark wrote his book. The Bible is a tough book. One of the reasons it is so difficult is the fact that we as readers aren't 1st century people living in Judea. Mark did not write his book to 21st-century people. That makes it difficult to understand. A guide to Mark is not a commentary. It is not a book that explains what Mark meant to tell his audience. Instead, a Guide to Mark seeks to give you the tools as a reader to read Mark yourself and decide what Mark intended to tell his audience. A Guide to Mark will provide you with the foundation to read and enjoy God's word for everything Mark meant it to convey. I also recommend this book for people looking to do a bible study with someone else. This book is a product of a study I did with a friend in my church, if you are looking for simple study material for a small group or one on one discipleship, this book is perfect for you.
