How many times have you wished if the prophet was here? This book is a message of love from a human being to the best of human beings, peace and blessings be upon him. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last Messenger of Allah (God). He was born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Most of his early life was spent as a merchant. The biography is in chronological order of the events of the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) from his childhood till he was called by the Lord of the universe (Allah).

Rodinson's book begins by introducing the specific land and the larger world into which Muhammad was born and the development of his prophetic calling. It then follows the steps of his career and the way his leadership gave birth to a religion and a state. A final chapter considers the world as Islam has transformed. The book as a whole offers a vivid and indispensable account of an extraordinary man and his achievement.

Tres souvent nous entendos le fondamentaliste de meme que l'intellectuel arabe parles d'une histoire fausse et falsifiee, sans pour autant nouse expliquer ni comment, no quelle est la vraie histoire arabe que reconnait le fondamentaliste et la raison arabe. Mohammed (570-632), the founder of Islam, was born at Mecca - now the spiritual centre of that religion.
