Exploring Heavenly Places - Volume 1 - Investigating Dimensions of Healing
This books provides articles regarding aspects of the body, soul and spirit in order to gain a basic understanding of these elements of our humanity and help us see how our beings interact with the unseen. The shattering of these aspects of our lives through wounding prohibits us from becoming all that the Lord wants us to be, and enables the enemy to profit from what is rightfully ours. This book lays the foundation for understanding the supernatural healing God brings us through Jesus Christ.

The Bible says we are at war; life confirms that we are at war; so what is our response? We follow our Commander in Chief into the battle, putting on the full armor of God, waging war against the generational issues that have pushed against us, and walking in the blessings and freedom that we need to rule and reign with our Lord Jesus Christ. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 ESV)We have chosen our side in the oh-so-real conflict between God and His righteousness and justice versus all that is evil; we oppose all that is evil and rebellious in the world. Our prayer is that Exploring Heavenly Places, Volume 11: Strategies for This Present Battle will help equip you for the battle, and that you will join us in the fight.

Addressing the religious leaders of His day, Jesus said, "For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in." He also taught us to petition our Father, "....Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven...For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever." Unwilling to follow the poor example of those scribes and Pharisees, we choose to explore heavenly places through the leadership of the Holy Spirit; taking back what has been given away to the enemy and securing victory in the heavens. This third book in the Exploring Heavenly Places series examines the nature of these realms as a dimensional system, focusing mostly on the grid, doors and gates. The evidence presented is clear that when His will is done there, our physical existence here is the beneficiary of positive change.

... "What sets Stills apart from your standard rock photo book is the captions, written by Robert Smith himself." — WhyNow The Cure "Stills" follows the changing faces of one of the leading British rock bands during the post-punk and new-wave movements of the late '70s and '80s. As the band has continued over a period of nearly 50 years, front man and only constant member Robert Smith has maintained the band's popularity throughout the changing musical eras, while staying true to their individualistic style and quirkiness. Instrumental in the creation of the varying incarnations of The Cure is photographer Paul Cox, who first encountered the group on Top of the Pops in 1980. Having established a creative, productive and trusting relationship with the band, Cox's resulting work is The Cure in all their glory. Including over 200 colour and 75 black-and-white images, with accompanying captions selected and written by Cox and Smith, this book is a celebration of a seminal band through the lens of a skilled photographer.

A complete and up-to-date introduction to the analysis and design of infrared and electro-optical (EO) imaging systems. The text details the principles and components of the Linear Shift-Invariant (LSI) infrared and electro-optical systems and combines it with calculus and domain transformations to achieve a successful imaging system analysis. Ultimately, the steps in this book lead to results in quantitative characterizations of performance metrics such as modulation transfer functions, minimum resolvable temperature difference; minimum resolvable contrast, and probability of object discrimination. The text includes an introduction to two-dimensional functions and mathematics which can be used to describe image transfer characteristics and imaging system components. It also covers diffraction concepts of coherent and incoherent imaging systems which show readers the fundamental limits of their performance. By using the evaluation procedures contained herein, engineers and programme managers become capable of predicting both sensor test and field performance and quantifying the effects of component variations. There are also over 500 equations.

It is the role of locals to report on a 'Preacher Kid's activities, at least in this book, the author, whether preteen or teenager, took opportunity to provide many escapades worth their reporting This pattern continues throughout his later experiences during various careers. As a teenager during WWII provided early income opportunities, as all men over 18 away to war, thus saving money for college, early dating & marriage, leading to early maturing with family responsibilities. A decade of farming providing practical experience enabling better education choices, even all the while raising his family. By educating himself first through BS, MS, PhD, plus wife with BA, then ex-wife through law school, followed by 3-children from ASU, NAU and U of A, 21-year span of college tuition, probably a record How his life changed from this long maturing and educational period, throughout following activities in public, private and international careers, provides an interesting perspective on broader societal differences experienced in many countries, including the USA. Middle East, North Africa societies are far different than South Equatorial Africa, Asia and/or Europe and the Americas. The author's perspective greatly aided by having wives at different stages of his careers, first American, 2nd Persia (Iran), 3rd Philippines. Reaching apex of careers at age 78 was an exceptional feat then upon retirement until now the author's reflection on life's experiences and potential societal change are unique indeed
Existentialism and Excess: The Life and Times of Jean-Paul Sartre
Jean-Paul Sartre is an undisputed giant of twentieth-century philosophy. His intellectual writings popularizing existentialism combined with his creative and artistic flair have made him a legend of French thought. His tumultuous personal life - so inextricably bound up with his philosophical thinking - is a fascinating tale of love and lust, drug abuse, high profile fallings-out and political and cultural rebellion. This substantial and meticulously researched biography is accessible, fast-paced, often amusing and at times deeply moving. Existentialism and Excess covers all the main events of Sartre's remarkable seventy-five-year life from his early years as a precocious brat devouring his grandfather's library, through his time as a brilliant student in Paris, his wilderness years as a provincial teacher-writer experimenting with mescaline, his World War II adventures as a POW and member of the resistance, his post-war politicization, his immense amphetamine fueled feats of writing productivity, his harem of women, his many travels and his final decline into blindness and old age.Along the way there are countless intriguing anecdotes, some amusing, some tragic, some controversial: his loathing of crustaceans and his belief that he was being pursued by a giant lobster, his escape from a POW camp, the bombing of his apartment, his influence on the May 1968 uprising and his many love affairs. Cox deftly moves from these episodes to discussing his intellectual development, his famous feuds with Aron, Camus, and Merleau-Ponty, his encounters with other giant figures of his day: Roosevelt, Hemingway, Heidegger, John Huston, Mao, Castro, Che Guevara, Khrushchev and Tito, and, above all, his long, complex and creative relationship with Simone de Beauvoir.Existentialism and Excess also gives serious consideration to Sartre’s ideas and many philosophical works, novels, stories, plays and biographies, revealing their intimate connection with his personal life.Cox has written an entertaining, thought-provoking and compulsive book, much like the man himself.
