Life as an Oxymoron: A Perspective on Paradoxes of Lifestyle
Life as an OxyMoron is a daring perspective about humanity and hypocrisy as seen through a young girl's eyes. This soul-stirring account evolves as the author evolves and grows up to discover the 'real world'. Journey along as she contrasts well-accepted Christian doctrine along side popular, secular lifestyles using her own personal experiences and unique outlook. It is sure to provoke your thinking and even conjure up a few laughs. This book will inspire you to revisit your own values and belief system and whether or not they truly align with your way of life. Coming from the deep south, Mouton has cooked up some delicious chicken gumbo for the soul... taste it

What are the people of God to think about divorce and this sexual revolution? What does God say to His people about divorce? What about those of you who are divorced? What is your usefulness in the Kingdom? How do we guard against divorce? These are important questions that the people of God must answer. The Bible is not silent on these issues. God has spoken frankly and at length to all of these and so many more questions about our sexuality and relationships. He is does not remain silent and neither should God's people.

Popular accounts of presidential nomination politics in the United States focus on factions, lanes, or even a civil war within the party. This Element uses data on party leader endorsements in nominations to identify a network of party actors and the apparent long-standing divisions within each party. The authors find that there are divisions, but they do not generally map to the competing camps described by most observers. Instead, they find parties that, while regularly divided, generally tend to have a dominant establishment group, which combines the interests of many factions, even as some factions sometimes challenge that establishment. This pattern fits a conception of factions as focused on reshaping the party, but not necessarily on undermining it.

From crusading in the Middle Ages to genocide in the twentieth century, from ancient blood feuds to modern urban riots, from tribal warfare to suicide terrorism, revenge has long been recognized as a root cause of violence in human societies. Developing a novel theory linking individual vengefulness to state behavior, Rachel M. Stein brings the study of revenge into the field of International Relations. Stein argues that by employing strategically crafted rhetoric, leaders with highly vengeful populations can activate their citizens' desire for revenge and channel it into support for war, thereby loosening the constraint of democratic accountability and increasing their freedom to use military force as a tool of foreign policy. This book will change the way scholars think about how citizens form their opinions regarding the use of military force and about the role those opinions play in shaping when and how democracies go to war.
