This book describes the solar power and piezoelectric based energy optimization and appliances control. The increase in energy consumption of portable electronic devices and the concept of harvesting renewable energy in human surrounding arouses a renewed interest. This book focuses on one of such advanced methods of energy harvesting using solar cell and piezoelectric material. Piezoelectric materials can be used as mechanisms to transfer mechanical energy, usually ambient vibration, into electrical energy that can be stored and used to power other devices. A solar tracker is used in various systems for the improvement of harnessing of solar radiation. The problem posed is the implementation of a system which is capable of enhancing production of power by 30-40%. The control circuit is implemented by the microcontroller. The control circuit then positions the motor that is used to orient the solar panel optimally.

A speech percept can reveal information about the speaker including gender, age, language, and emotion. Several existing speech recognition systems used in IoT applications are integrated with an emotion detection system in order to analyze the emotional state of the speaker. The performance of the emotion detection system can greatly influence the overall performance of the IoT application in many ways and can provide many advantages over the functionalities of these applications. This research presents a speech emotion detection system with improvements over an existing system in terms of data, feature selection, and methodology that aims at classifying speech percepts based on emotions, more accurately.

Um die Leistung der Methoden zu analysieren, m ssen Daten f r das Training mit Methoden des maschinellen Lernens verwendet werden. Anschlie end werden die Zifferndaten mit dem gew nschten maschinellen Lernverfahren getestet.

Lo scopo principale di questa tesi quello di scoprire le prestazioni di riconoscimento dei metodi. Per analizzare le prestazioni dei metodi, necessario utilizzare i dati per l'addestramento con metodi di apprendimento automatico. Successivamente, i dati delle cifre vengono testati con la tecnica di apprendimento automatico desiderata.
