In Apartheid Remains, Sharad Chari explores how people handle the remains of segregation and apartheid in South Africa as witnessed through portals in an industrial-residential landscape in the Indian Ocean city of Durban. Through long-term historical and ethnographic research, Chari portrays South Africa’s twentieth century as a palimpsest that conserves the remains of multiple pasts, including attempts by the racial state to remake territory and personhood while instead deepening spatial contradictions and struggles. When South Durban’s denizens collectively mobilized in various ways---through Black Consciousness politics and other attempts at refusing the ruinous articulation of biopolitics, sovereignty, and capital---submerged traditions of the Indian Ocean and the Black Atlantic offered them powerful resources. Of these, Chari reads Black documentary photography as particularly insightful audiovisual blues critique. At the tense interface of Marxism, feminism, and Black study, he offers a method and form of geography attentive to the spatial and embodied remains of history. Apartheid Remains looks out from South Durban to imaginations of abolition of all forms of racial capitalism and environmental suffering that define our planetary predicament.

This is a pack of Indian-Hindi words explained in the English Language for inquisitive people as well as others who may get some value out of such translations -it hopes to clear ambiguity about those and show the gains made by both the Cultures after the period of close contact which was during the time of the British Indian empire or the 'Raj' . I believe that if the ethos is explained it goes on to explain a lot about the culture as well; but then India and the Hindi civilization is one of the oldest civilisations and it is a challenge to explain the sensibilities of both the sides in this book.

How might an oceanic Gramsci speak to Black aquafuturism and other forms of oceanic critique? This succinct work reads Antonio Gramsci’s writings on the sea, focused in his prison notes on waves of imperial power in the inter-war oceans of his time. Sharad Chari argues that the imprisoned militant’s method is oceanic in form, and that this oceanic Marxism can attend to the roil of sociocultural dynamics, to waves of imperial power, as well as to the capacity of Black, Drexciyan, and other forms of oceanic critique to “storm” us on different shores.

"It is better to be a tiger for one day than a sheep for a thousand years." - Tibetan ProverbTigers walk alone. They are not shepherded through life and are entirely self-sufficient. Confident, capable, charismatic-they are masters of their own destiny in the jungle. As a keystone species, they are catalysts for creation. Would you rather be a tiger or a sheep? The Tiger CEO is a book that hones your leadership skills with the wiles and wisdom of a tiger's tactics in the wild. Many leadership books allude to the idea of the "tiger" in you. This book draws parallels between feline traits and those of great leaders, ranging from Gandhi to Elon Musk. It not only highlights the manner in which iconic biodiversity conservation leaders such as Jim Corbett have protected and studied the species but also how their own behaviour has been impacted by it.Broken down into eleven distinct sections, this book attempts to adapt the lessons learnt from a tiger's day to day behaviour consciously into our work and our lives. Master the skills, strategy and strength of a tiger to become the king of your own jungle.
How many times do we make an opinion on people just by their outer appearance? How many times has our perception been based on the bundles of information we get from our sources or from mainstream media? How many times have we felt we were wrong about a particular person or event? The Fight Backs is about the battle within, fought 'inside' by every individual for the elusive redemption and that little chance to get real happiness. This is the story of how a little girl, Umeed, becomes the hope for the protagonists and how perceptions and impressions are shattered as reality unfolds. The story, set in the backdrop of the unfortunate Muzaffarnagar Riots of 2013 with love - jihad suspicion as its trigger, is an emotional tale with love at its core. The Fight Backs portrays the positive life-changing journey of the protagonists whose inner struggles lead to spiritual awakening. The story eventually immerses itself in spirituality. The characters of The Fight Backs are all inside and all around us. We just have to observe them without the past and often misconceived prejudices. Read, feel and see... that magic happens, but we are just too distracted to witness them.

This is a book about the British foray into India and called How the Raj came to pass. It is a voyage from the start to the end of the British Empire and it seeks to understand and explain the ideas and the various tricks that kept the Raj going for the nearly 200 years that it did. It also wants to portray the disastrous effects that it had on the Indian nation and the people in general it tries to showcase as to the real reason that the British came how it all came to happen? Why did they come? What did they expect to gain here? Was destroying a civilization or a religion on the cards for a developed nation with an army rich with guns and ordinance? Or were they here only for a jaunt and a safari? Some people say that the British wanted to rule the whole world and spread their form of Christianity and lifestyle everywhere others are of the opinion that they came in with only looting on their minds while still others are of the opinion that they wanted a share in the riches or definitely a share in the Trade and Commerce that India commanded. The Author also likes to pose questions to his audience and tries to answer them too. But one wonders how the emancipation of the soul of a nation continued unabated for centuries and was not brought to task ever
