From the Author of "Middle Finger Happiness (work hard. live well. don't f*ck with me}" Sharon Lee Zapata brings you It's A New Day, Don't Be A Shit Head She whips out her intellectual smartass kung fu as a hard-working business owner, podcaster, artist, and mom who juggles laundry, house-cleaning, and cheerfully picks up dog sh*t when taking her rescue dogs for a walk... With her hamster-wheel energy, she's been known to create a business on a cocktail napkin after drinking 3 margaritas, write 3 new books to inspire others with her positive, disruptive, slightly irregular strategies on how to stop procrastinating and smack down the bull-shit in your life. "It's a New Day, Don't Be a ShitHead is sprinkled with Sharon's moxie-thoughts and her smarty-pants intellectual sarcasm. She's been known to charm the pants off people... actually, she doesn't want your pants; she wants you to open this book up Read. Laugh. Learn. Take Action. #RinseAndRepeat It's A New Day, Don't Be A Shit Head, was also influenced by the request of her readers and social media following. So she gathered her collection of home-spun quotes and memes, real talk no bullshit experiences and put them into this little beasty book. It's A New Day, Don't Be A Shit Head, is like using map-quest to guide you through your thick-head of being overwhelmed and #getshitdone. This book can also be used when faced with angry moms in the car-pool lane, f*ck nugget family members, people you meet who are idiots, and other trouble maker shituations no typo]. Yeah, it's all in here...

Concerning Stephen Willats and the Social Function of Art

This book on Stephen Willats pulls together key strands of his practice and threads them through histories of British cybernetics, experimental art, and urban design. For Willats, a cluster of concepts about control and feedback within living and machine systems (cybernetics) offered a new means to make art relevant. For decades, Willats has built relationships through art with people in tower blocks, underground clubs, middle-class enclaves, and warehouses on the Isle of Dogs, to investigate their current conditions and future possibilities. Sharon Irish’s study demonstrates the power of Willats’s multi-media art to catalyze communication among participants and to upend ideas about “audience” and “art.” Here, Irish argues that it is artists like Willats who are now the instigators of social transformation.
I Cried, I Smiled, I'm Laughing: Cherries in the Snow
Sharon Stanton has written a gut-wrenchingly honest and candid book about her life. She does not hold back. She tells of the early years with alcoholic parents and the anxiety she lived with every day of her life. Becoming a Christian at age 16 started her on the walk with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but drinking became more important and took the place of faith in her life. Marriage to a strong, domineering man came, and children followed. She led a double life in those years. She became sober in Alcoholics Anonymous, but divorce soon followed and again her life changed. In these years, she had many love affairs, with much younger men and with men her own age. There were severe ramifications from those choices. low self esteem, poor self image, coupled with shame, plagued her constantly. In 1987, after nearly having a nervous breakdown, she vowed to change. She got down on her knees and cried out to God for strength to do so. It would be another three years before real change and healing began. Going to a Life In the Spirit Seminar at her church, she was bathed in the Holy Spirit and healing began. In 1990, she met the man who helped turn her life around, and gave her stable companionship, friendship, and love. They both share the same faith in the Lord. At present, they have not married, but knows that each has a soul mate in the other. Now, life is good in Christ and many avenues of service for her Lord and Savior have opened up to her. God forgives even the worst of sinners, and she will be "eternally" grateful for that.

The luck runs rough around Theo Waitley. Not only are people trying to kill her and capture the self-aware intelligent ship Bechimo to whom Theo is bonded, they’re also trying to arrest her crew members, and throw the dignity of an important passenger, the duly-constituted norbear ambassador Hevelin, into question. No wonder Theo and her crew felt the need of a break, and retired to what Bechimo refers to as "safe space."Unfortunately, safe space may not be so safe, anymore. It seems that things are leaking through from anotheruniverse, and another time. In fact, whole spaceships are coming through. One of those ships is a blasted battleship seemingly fleeing a long-lost war. What’s more, its crew may be members of Theo’s ancient ancestral line—her relatives. It’s certain that they are in dire need of help. Theo has a choice to make. It seems that Bechimo’s “safe space” is about to become deadly perilous.

IT STARTS WITH A MAN WHO WAS NOT WHAT HE SEEMED “The man who was not Terrence O’Grady had come quietly.” Introducing Val Con yos’Phelium – interstellar spy, starship pilot, musician, and incidentally, a brother to Clutch Turtles. Running from an assassination he comes upon Miri Robertson, a not-so-retired mercenary soldier born to trouble on a back world and facing disastrously uneven odds in a firefight with her former employer’s enemies. Forced to intervene, Val Con becomes a target himself, and the pair are hunted, hounded across space, becoming unwilling partners of necessity. Facing terrible danger from within and without, their own skills and training argue that one of them must die if either is to survive. But Val Con has faced tricky situations before, and he's not about to let something like impossible odds get him down. About Dragon in Exile: “[S]prawling and satisfying. . . . A world divided cannot stand. A people divided cannot thrive. The Oracle has Seen the end of Civilization, and the end of the Haosa, too. Reactions to this are—mixed. On the one hand, foresight is a notoriously erratic Gift. On the other, can Civilization—or the Haosa—afford to assume that the prophecy is an error? And if the Oracle has Seen truly—is it possible to alter the future? While well-meaning people struggle to implement change that might, at least, mitigate a disaster, others are looking toward the profit they can make from the end of the world. In the meantime, the Tree-and-Dragon Trade Team has concluded its whole port inventory, and is about to propose Colemeno as a trade-hub and anchor to a brand-new route. Padi yos’Galan is preparing to step into new roles, personally, and in trade. And the lives of two small children may be the thread that binds the future—or unravels it.
