Alicia Johnson, a strong, independent, well renowned Corporate Attorney for one of the largest law firms in Atlanta is a woman haunted by her past. The facade that she is forced to portray is unbeknownst to those closest to her in order to cover up a dark secret that she's had to deal with since childhood. Love and Men don't coincide in her world, being that relationships in her eyes only end in heartache and pain. Thinking that by changing her name and location that it would give her a fresh start, Alicia is able to enjoy life the only way she sees fit -- her way. That is until her past comes back to threaten her future. Her world is once again shaken when she finds out that the one person she has been trying to forget has made his presence known, with a vow to pay for sending him to prison. Caught in a web of love, hurt, and betrayal. Will Alicia find what she's looking for or will the events that rocked her childhood have the final say so in ruining her life?
Prophets who speak today represent and carry out the Lord's will as they lead His children in this dispensation. The children of Israel did not know the direction from Egypt through the wilderness to the Promised Land even Moses did not know but God knew. The children of Israel even did not know where the Promised Land was. God was not giving direction to the children of Israel but only to His chosen servant prophet Moses. There are very many parts of your christian life, as you pass through the wilderness, which you need direction and this is the reason you need a prophet. You must know the direction God is leading you to for you not to fall into a ditch. Be it in employment, marriage, career, investing, calling, etc, you need a prophet.

In 2014, after a decade of political turmoil, the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) carried out Thailand's 13th coup since the country's transformation from absolute to constitutional monarchy in 1932. Though the NCPO promised to restore the rule of law, justice—long tenuous in Thailand—disappeared entirely. The legal system was used to criminalize the thoughts and actions of democratic dissidents, facilitate extrajudicial violence, and guarantee impunity for the coup and crimes by state officials. Combining legal and historical scholarship and long-term courtroom observation, Dictatorship on Trial traces the legal, social, and political impacts of authoritarianism, and foregrounds court decisions as both a history of repression and a site in which to imagine future justice. Organized chronologically across the five years of the NCPO regime, each chapter takes up a different political case and enumerates the ways in which political activists were made vulnerable rather than protected by the state's interpretations of the law, and the mechanisms through which perpetrators evaded accountability. Inspired by feminist legal scholars, the substantive analysis in each chapter is followed by new, rewritten judgments created in collaboration with Thai human rights activists. In plotting these alternative logics, interpretations of evidence, and conclusions, Tyrell Haberkorn outlines what true justice might look like, and assesses the legal and political transformations necessary to realize it.

A serial killer's deadly game pushes Tracy Lane to her limits as she fights to protect Atlanta's streets. WHEN Amber Seasons, the daughter of two of the world's most popular reality stars, is murdered, the case lands on the lap of Tracy Lane and her partner Lewis Mitchell. Tracy is one of A.P.D's (Atlanta Police Department) most experienced detectives and has been solving crimes and witnessing travesties since the day she graduated from the police academy. Now, Lane and Mitchell are thrown into a real-life game of cat and mouse while working in the major crimes department. Atlanta is one of the deadliest cities in America and is filled with unexpected curveballs, twists, and turns. And that is just the tip of the iceberg in a truly dark world. Soon after Amber is found, the body of another young woman is discovered, and the similarities are no coincidence. Faced with the reality that a serial killer may have taken residence, Tracy is forced to enlist the help of the G.B.I. (Georgia Bureau of Investigations), and the Federal Bureau of Investigations. With all of these resources made available to her, she still has no physical evidence to process, no clues, and no motive. She soon realizes that without a renewed strategy from the killer's eyes, the chances of stopping these killings will be impossible to stop. Can Tracy Lane put an end to the homicides that are starting to make headline after headline in her city, or will Atlanta continue to have their murder rate go up by the week?
