Cependant, des exp riences r centes ont sugg r que l'utilisation d'endoscopes, comme dans d'autres proc dures mini-invasives, pourrait permettre la r paration de fractures faciales par des incisions plus petites avec une exposition moins tendue. Les premi res applications du traitement endoscopique des traumatismes faciaux comprenaient les fractures subcondyliennes de la mandibule et les fractures par clatement de l'orbite.
