Title 36 contains the regulations governing the administration and programs responsible for national parks, forests, water resource projects, battle monuments, the Smithsonian Institution, the Library of Congress, historic preservation, Pennsylvania Avenue (in Washington, DC), the National Archives, the Assassination Records Review Board, and the dispelling of architectural and transportation barriers for the handicapped.
In this, the revised edition of Tidbits: Odds and Ends from Baltimore's Water Department History, the purpose of its content remains the same; to provide the reader with a partial index to the enormous amount of information that is stored at the Montebello Filtration Plant. Noticeable changes made to this edition, besides the title, is that most repetitious information has been deleted, some entries have been shortened, and there have been many more files added, including photo files. The summarized information contained in this book comes from a variety of sources: personal journals and letters, glass plate negatives and lantern slides. There are hundreds of files and books documented, thousands of photographs scanned and remarked on, numerous water contracts and specification books listed. Also various maps, drawings and blueprints.
