Au erdem sollen die erforderlichen Schritte zur Durchf hrung von FEM-Berechnungen f r "Metall x Metall"-Dichtungen definiert und aufgezeigt werden. Sobald der ideale theoretische Entwurf verifiziert ist, w rde der Validierungstest durchgef hrt, wodurch die Wahrscheinlichkeit erfolgreicher Testergebnisse erh ht w rde. Lo scopo di questo studio quello di verificare la fattibilit dell'uso del metodo degli elementi finiti per simulare i test di qualificazione delle tenute "metallo x metallo" per l'uso sottomarino nelle attrezzature di prospezione petrolifera. Questo lavoro suggerisce l'uso di un software specializzato per il calcolo agli elementi finiti per aiutare nelle fasi di progettazione, simulando i test di convalida a causa degli elevati costi di produzione, test e riprogettazione. Inoltre, si propone di definire e mostrare i passaggi necessari per effettuare i calcoli con FEM per le tenute "metallo x metallo". Una volta verificata la progettazione teorica ideale, si proceder al test di convalida, aumentando le probabilit di successo dei test. Utilizzando la metodologia proposta, i test preliminari reali possono essere sostituiti da simulazioni al computer, riducendo tempi e costi.

The purpose of this study is to verify the feasibility of using the finite element method to simulate qualification tests for "metal x metal" seals for use underwater in oil prospecting equipment. This work suggests the use of specialized finite element calculation software to help with the design stages, simulating validation tests due to the high costs of manufacturing, testing and re-design. It also aims to define and show the steps required to perform calculations using FEM for "metal x metal" seals. Once the ideal theoretical design has been verified, the validation test would be carried out, increasing the likelihood of successful test results. Using the proposed methodology, real preliminary tests can be replaced by computer simulations, reducing time and cost.
