Bargo Lynden, Blacksmith-turned wizard embarks on a journey to destroy evil at its source by killing the evil sorcerer Garlock on Bereuka Island. He is assisted by his mentor, Galong, his cousin, Captain Joe Garkee, and his good friend, Barton. They enlist the help of the Shudolin Naval forces, who provide them with ten ships to sail to the faraway lands. They face giant birds, bats, and insects, treacherous weather, giant whirlpools, sea monsters, and even mermaids in their task. At home, King Glam and the Shudolin are faced with a new threat, when Phillip's half-sister, Camilla, invades the castle with an army of Grassmen. Ang, believed dead, resurfaces, as well, forming a pact with her and King Glazar, leader of the Licarions. With just Lilly, Bargo's cousin, and a town full of Woblos, they do their best to defend their homeland, but must eventually ask for the help of the Elven Kingdom to defeat the invading forces. Bargo Lynden must fight to quell the conflict in the land and eliminate the source of Garlock's and Ang's power. Join this second part of this mystical adventure of religion, magic, faith, romance, and a Woblo's decision whether to give up the wizardry, and become human as his kind once was, or remain the most powerful creature in Elven history.

Every honest Christian knows the need for change. But how to get there? How do you move forward from struggles both big and small? And how does our faith in God impact our everyday thoughts, feelings, and actions? This six-session small group resource gives participants an opportunity to reflect on one particular area in their lives and then to learn more about how God changes us to become more like Jesus. All of us struggle to love God and those around us, but God has promised to keep working on us. And God always keeps his promises. The change his gospel produces will make your life and your relationships truly beautiful. This self-contained resource with leader's notes will encourage small group participants to understand and apply a biblical view of change to their lives and relationships. Real Change: Becoming More Like Jesus in Everyday Life is based on the CCEF model of change from David Powlison's course, Dynamics of Biblical Change. The easy-to-use six lesson format and included leader's guide encourages participants toward an honest discussion of their own struggles while providing an understanding of how a relationship with Christ brings change. Topics addressed include understanding how we typically respond to trouble, how the cross of Christ brings comfort, help, and change, and how we can grow to be like Christ in the hardest circumstances.

While the study material is designed for young adults within small groups, it can also be used for one-to-one discipleship study. Rooted in Scripture, Real Change for Students draws on the established CCEF "Three Threes" model of change in simplified form to help young adults better understand biblical change and grow to be more like Jesus in everyday life. *Note: The homework for each session is available for download here should students wish to share it with the leader.

For nearly seventy years, John J. Young Jr. photographed railroads. With unparalleled scope and span, he documented the impact and beauty of railways in American life from1936 to 2004.As a child during the Great Depression, J. J. Young Jr. began to photograph railroads in Wheeling, West Virginia. This book collects over one hundred fifty of those images—some unpublished until now—documenting the railroads of Wheeling and the surrounding area from the 1930s until the 1960s.The photographs within this book highlight the major railroads of Wheeling: the Baltimore & Ohio, the Pennsylvania, the Wheeling & Lake Erie, the Pittsburgh & West Virginia, the New York Central, and the industrial and interurban rail lines that crisscrossed the region. These images capture the routine activities of trains that carried passengers and freight to and from the city and its industries, as well as more unusual traffic, such as a circus-advertising car, the General Motors Train of Tomorrow, and the 1947 American Freedom Train.
