In these environments, aquifers and wells could become over exploited resulting the use of desalination plans. The synergies between water, energy, and food sectors have been identified as vital in achieving the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.The book explores desalination and microgrids technically as well the economic and legal aspects that must be considered in order explore their techno-economic feasibility - analyzing how to improve the desalination process, proposing a method to locate and size a microgrid. Other synergies between the water, energy, and food system are discussed and the benefits to society that might result in these systems. Constructing a great map of the sciences has been a persistent dream since the Middle Ages. In modern times this need has become even more urgent because of the requirement to combine and link research in adjacent areas, often resulting in new disciplines such as bioinformatics and nanotechnologies. Computer visualization helps humans to perceive and understand large and complex structures, such as molecular structures or data dependencies. Vargas-Quesada and Moya-Anegón propose a methodology for visualizing large scientific domains. They create science maps, so-called "scientograms", based on the interactions between authors and their papers through citations and co-citations, using approaches such as domain analysis, social networks, cluster analysis and pathfinder networks. The resulting scientograms offer manifold possibilities. Domain analysts can discover the most significant connections between categories of a given domain, and they can also see how these categories are grouped into major thematic areas and how they are interrelated through a logical internal, while information scientists or researchers new to an area may appreciate a durable image of the essential structure of a domain.

Las tem ticas acera de coronariopat as son pertinentes tales como la cardiopat a isqu mica. El Objetivo de la investigaci n consisti en determinar la efectividad de un programa educativo en adultos mayores con coronariopat as para el control de los factores de riesgos modificables del CMF# 6 de Esperanza ]Mario Mu oz Monroy], de octubre 2018 a febrero 2021. Metodolog a: Para determinar la efectividad se realiz una investigaci n de tipo cuasi-experimental, prospectivo, el universo estuvo constituido por 37 pacientes dispensarizados, seleccionados por muestreo no probabil stico. S operacionalizaron las variables de estudio. El dise o del programa educativo const de tres etapas. S aplicaron encuestas similar a la evaluaci n inicial, s pudo procesar, analizar los datos y comparar el nivel de informaci n antes y despu s. Concluimos que el programa fue efectivo; existe relaci n significativa entre la poca percepci n en los pacientes de su enfermedad y el control de los factores de riesgo modificables asociados a la enfermedad. Sugerimos realizar intervenci n educativa personalizada a los adultos mayores con coronariopat a muy beneficiosas para su autocuidado.

Las drogas il citas mellan y socavan la personalidad del individuo transform ndolo en un esclavo sumiso, destruyendo sus lazos afectivos, familiares, profesionales y morales. La detecci n temprana de indicadores de consumo de drogas il citas en el joven pueden lograr un "rescate" temprano, o al menos evitar la muerte precoz ya sea directa (sobredosis de droga) o indirectamente (contagio de enfermedades como SIDA, Hepatitis, gangrena de alg n miembro por uso de jeringas, accidentes de tr nsito). Este trabajo fue realizado para brindar ayuda tanto para padres, familiares, amigos y pacientes que se sientan afectados por el fen meno de la drogodependencia. Estudiamos una poblaci n de estudiantes universitarios de la Facultad de Medicina donde observamos la presencia de consumo recreacional. Los factores mas frecuentemente involucrados fueron: la curiosidad, los amigos, la disfunci n familiar, presencia de trastornos como la depresi n o tristeza. Planteamos estrategias preventivas, diagn sticas y tratamiento. La estructura familiar sigue jugando, hoy por hoy, un rol importante en la prevenci n de esta enfermedad.
