Omnipr sente dans la vie de Boris Vian, la musique lui a conf r une sensibilit qui est certainement pour une part la source de son originalit en tant qu' crivain. Notre recherche vise interroger l'importance de la musique dans son univers litt raire, ainsi que les efforts qu'il a consacr s au rapprochement des deux arts. Utilisant son acception ouverte des formes de la musique, nous avons d couvert un monde o l' crivain inscrit l'art d'Euterpe de maintes mani res. Dans l'oeuvre de fiction, la musique exerce ainsi son infl uence depuis le detail stylistique jusqu' la structure macroscopique. Le premier volet de notre tude concerne les pr sentations explicites de la musique dans ses fictions tandis que la partie suivante poursuit l'exploration vers une dimension plus implicite. Notre interpr tation de la musique dans les fictions de Vian se d veloppera selon trois dynamiques: la convergence, la transformation et la synchronisation. Nous avons d couvert que la musique chez Vian joue un r le important par rapport l'installation du contexte des r cits, la cr ation des personnages, l'expression des motions et des attitudes, ainsi qu' la construction de son architecture fictionnelle.
