The Secret Garden is gorgeously reimagined in this deliciously dreamy urban fairytale about a dryad who risks immortality for love, from debut author Devin Greenlee All seventeen-year-old Quill wants is a break from the family business. Flowers, plants, the generations-old garden. What he wouldn't give for a taste of the outside world. Normalcy. But his mom won't let him out of the house, telling him he's just not ready... All because he's a dryad. Well, not just any dryad, but a male dryad--the first ever. And unlike everyone else in his family, he hasn't a lick of magic. Just a shock of green hair, matching green eyes, and a growing frustration that there's an entire world out there waiting to be discovered. Until the night when the outside world--specifically his new neighbor--discovers him. Liam Watson lives in a culture filled with electronics, mobile devices, and social media--where there is no magic or even the belief in it. And as much as Quill finds Liam irritating (he's so cute it's annoying), he can't help himself. Now Quill's getting a taste of the outside world and of Liam...and he wants more. But all is not well in this magical, urban garden, and someone--or something--is changing the very essence of it. And wherever Quill goes, the danger grows...

On November 8, 2016, nearly 63 million Americans from around the country chose Donald J. Trump to be the 45th President of the United States. Now, less than a year before the next presidential election, 231 House Democrats in Washington, D.C., are trying to undo the will of the American people.* As one Democrat admitted, the pursuit of this extreme course of action is because they want to stop President Trump's re-election.+ Democrats in the House of Representatives have been working to impeach President Trump since his election. Democrats introduced four separate resolutions in 2017 and 2018 seeking to impeach President Trump.+ In January 2019, on their first day in power, House Democrats again introduced articles of impeachment. That same day, a newly elected Congresswoman promised to an audience of her supporters, "we're going to go in there and we're going to impeach the expletive deleted]."** Her comments are not isolated. Speaker Nancy Pelosi called President Trump "an impostor" and said it is "dangerous" to allow American voters to evaluate his performance in 2020.++ The Democrats' impeachment inquiry is not the organic outgrowth of serious misconduct; it is an orchestrated campaign to upend our political system. The Democrats are trying to impeach a duly elected President based on the accusations and assumptions of unelected bureaucrats who disagreed with President Trump's policy initiatives and processes. They are trying to impeach President Trump because some unelected bureaucrats were discomforted by an elected President's telephone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. They are trying to impeach President Trump because some unelected bureaucrats chafed at an elected President's "outside the beltway" approach to diplomacy. The sum and substance of the Democrats' case for impeachment is that President Trump abused his authority to pressure Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden, President Trump's potential political rival, for President Trump's benefit in the 2020 election. Democrats say this pressure campaign encompassed leveraging a White House meeting and the release of U.S. security assistance to force the Ukrainian President to succumb to President Trump's political wishes. Democrats say that Mayor Rudy Giuliani, the President's personal attorney, and a "shadow" group of U.S. officials conspired to benefit the President politically. The evidence presented does not prove any of these Democrat allegations, and none of the Democrats' witnesses testified to having evidence of bribery, extortion, or any high crime or misdemeanor.

Devin D. Brown is one of many African American men who grew up without guidance from a father. He had to learn from his own mistakes and his own losses. While experience has taught him well, he wrote this book to help families who want to prevent African American young men from making mistakes in the first place. In clear, candid language, he explores how to: -maintain a cultural connection with the black community even if you live in a white neighborhood; -encourage children to embrace Jesus Christ as a critical part of their life; -teach children right versus wrong; -recognize and fight systemic racism. The author also shares the lessons he learned about the three Ws - wealth, work ethic, and women - through losing jobs and other failures. Knowing about these three things are vital to the survival of African American men.

A story about the carnal lust that burns in all of us and our insatiable quest to possess that which we desire most...sensual euphoria and financial stability, at any cost..Kam Harper had a life many men would envy. He was, by most accounts, a good catch. The 6'2" cappuccino-brown brother was a self-proclaimed ladies' man and sex hound. Born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia, he often fooled the average woman with his boyish good looks that made it easy to mistake him for 28 to 30 years old, when he was actually turning 40 in a few months. A single, successful businessman, homeowner and financially stable with the love of a beautiful woman, Kam held the world in the palm of his hand, but he wanted more. Why should he settle for just one woman when he had so much to offer the right one? He could do better and planned to execute his plan to find better during a boys' weekend with his best friend since childhood, Gabe..Zoe knew Kam loved her. They had been together for almost three years. Zoe Brogan was a self-made sister, owning the most successful real estate business in Virginia. Standing nearly six feet tall, with smooth almond colored blemish-free skin, green eyes and a perfect smile, it's no wonder she drew stares from people from all walks of life. Grossing over seven figures annually, Zoe didn't need to be taken care of. She made her own ends and could easily support the lifestyle to which she had become accustomed, but she wanted the icing. Almost forty and never married, Zoe was ready to settle down and start a family, but lately Kam had become secretive, evasive and at times disrespectful. They were growing apart but she couldn't figure out why. .If Lusita Raymond had a dime for every woman who referred to her as a "hoelet", half hoe and half harlot, she wouldn't be hiding her car from the repo man and shredding past due notices. But she didn't have two dimes to rub together. What she did have, if used for evil instead of good, could catch any man or woman she desired. Lusita Raymond was a stunner. She possessed almost every physical attribute needed to be Halle Berry's double. If only she had her talent. With her flawless cappuccino complexion, high cheekbones and well-toned body, she was a female force to be reckoned with. She planned to use the force to F.A.R.M. or to Find A Real Man. First she'd find him then she'd land him or better, land on him, no matter what his current situation was.
A tale of two cities? More like a tale of two world's. Different in form, function, & aesthetic but similar in how intelligent life seems to behave. The Chamber & 2047, respectively, offer readers a literary adventure - an opportunity for the mind to wander, for a time. The Chamber, a fantasy thriller, offers readers a tale of power & intrigue told through the combined lens of magic and political procedure. 2047 - sees a world, not unlike our own, where the technological and geopolitical landscapes have change but human nature stays the same.
