It behooves those who teach in the church to be aware that proper teaching in the church involves the Word of Christ, and by implication Jesus Christ. Thus, Christ education is the word of the day; meaning that first and foremost Jesus Christ must be central to teaching; second, that His Word is to be presented and taught, not opinions or traditions; and finally, as God has created all things by Christ, we should be concerned with how people develop and learn, since we are all created with the God-provided stages in our education process. This study aimed at learning if Christ education, i.e. 'Christ-Ed' was being applied by teachers in local Christian churches.
