W hrend des Zeitraums 1972-1990 war die Geldpolitik durch die Festlegung eines Endziels gekennzeichnet, das auf das Streben nach und die F rderung der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung im BEAC-Emissionsgebiet ausgerichtet war. Seit den Reformen und der finanziellen Liberalisierung in den 1990er Jahren ist das Hauptziel der BEAC jedoch die Aufrechterhaltung eines Inflationsniveaus von 3% f r alle Mitgliedsl nder. Der Zweck dieser Studie ist es, die Relevanz des Inflationsziels in den L ndern der Zentralafrikanischen Wirtschafts- und W hrungsgemeinschaft (CEMAC) anhand der Sch tzung der Opferquote im Zeitraum 1994-2019 zu bewerten. Unsere Studie zeigt, dass das Inflationsziel von 3% die Politik zur Bek mpfung der Arbeitslosigkeit in den CEMAC-L ndern unwirksam macht.

During the 1972-1990 period, monetary policy was characterized by the setting of an ultimate objective, focused on the search for and promotion of economic development in the BEAC issuing zone. However, since the reforms and financial liberalization of the 1990s, BEAC's main objective has been to maintain an inflation level of 3% for all member countries. The purpose of this study is to assess the relevance of the inflation target in the countries of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC), by estimating the sacrifice ratio over the 1994-2019 period. Our study shows that the 3% inflation target renders ineffective the policies to fight unemployment in CEMAC countries.

Durante il periodo 1972-1990, la politica monetaria stata caratterizzata dalla definizione di un obiettivo finale, incentrato sulla ricerca e sulla promozione dello sviluppo economico nella zona di emissione BEAC. Tuttavia, dopo le riforme e la liberalizzazione finanziaria degli anni '90, l'obiettivo principale della BEAC stato quello di mantenere un livello di inflazione del 3% per tutti i Paesi membri. Lo scopo di questo studio quello di valutare la rilevanza dell'obiettivo di inflazione nei Paesi della Comunit economica e monetaria dell'Africa centrale (CEMAC), stimando l'indice di sacrificio nel periodo 1994-2019. Il nostro studio dimostra che l'obiettivo di inflazione del 3% rende inefficaci le politiche di lotta alla disoccupazione nei Paesi della CEMAC.
