Por outro, a adapta o de equipamentos para convers o de energia e o uso m ltiplo dos recursos h dricos adicionam complexidade ao projeto. Este trabalho tamb m apresenta um estudo de caso com uma avalia o em n vel de pr viabilidade da gera o de energia na barragem de Val de Serra, utilizada para abastecimento da cidade de Santa Maria, na regi o central do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, no sul do Brasil.
