The book is about a young girl from Las Vegas, who has come to Baltimore, with her family for some business issues. There, she meets, A.Frontier, a youth whose father wishes both of them to get married. Amelia did not want to marry him but agrees when her father insisted. Her marriage is fixed in the rains, and her father had to go out for some business deals and promises her to return after six months, nearly around her wedding date. Finally, her wedding date comes, but for some reason, HE DID NOT COME, and Mr. Frontier refuses to wait for him, and shift the ceremony date. Read to find out, why did Amelia's father not return? What is the real cause, and who will reveal it? The story expressively brings out the Father-Daughter relation, and the readers are left with anguish and pain.
