Fin dai significati del proprio titolo, pregnante per il carattere sintetico della lingua latina, e nonostante che sia assai breve, quest'operetta e ricchissima di temi e motivi. In essa si contiene quasi una piccola summa o compendio di concezioni sociologiche, pedagogiche, politiche, storiche e antropologiche spesso violentemente polemiche, ma esposte e condotte con varieta di stile, contro lo Zeitgeist entro cui si viene svolgendo la decadenza dell'istruzione e piu in generale della societa e della cultura, in Italia e nel mondo. Insegnanti stabili e insegnanti precari, quelli taglieggiati a piu riprese e a colpi di migliaia d'euro alla volta per poter accedere "al ruolo", genitori, studenti, intellettuali e cittadini puri e semplici possono trovare in questo trattatello sui generis uno specchio entro cui riflettere, e anche allargare e modificare radicalmente le proprie concezioni. Perche il dibattito su questi temi, tutti di fondamentale importanza, oggi in realta e inesistente, o preconfezionato.
