Over the past few decades, the book series Linguistische Arbeiten [Linguistic Studies], comprising over 500 volumes, has made a significant contribution to the development of linguistic theory both in Germany and internationally. Die Geschichte beschreibt das Schicksal der Lufthansa-Boeing 737 (Landshut), die 1977 entf hrt wurde. Bei der Entf hrung war ich gl cklicherweise nicht an Bord, habe aber auch oft auf dieser Maschine gearbeitet. Charly ist mir also ganz pers nlich bekannt. Seine Geschichte zu erz hlen, war mir eine Herzensangelegenheit. Mit ein sehr wichtiger Grund aber war die Frage eines Kindes: "K nnen Flugzeuge auch traurig sein, wenn man sie auf einem Schrottplatz abstellt und vergisst?" Aus dieser ber hrenden Frage habe ich diese Geschichte in 2 Teilen geschrieben. Es ist die Geschichte einer wunderbaren und tiefen Freundschaft zwischen der achtj hrigen Leni aus Brasilien und der traurigen Boeing mit dem Namen "D-ABCE" = Delta-Alpha-Bravo-CHARLY-Echo.

Die achtj hrige Leni aus Brasilien hat sich mit der Boeing 737 "Charly Echo" angefreundet. Nun beobachtet sie genau die Arbeiten der Lufthansa-Techniker auf dem Flugzeugfriedhof. Sie zerlegen das Flugzeug, f r seine berf hrung nach Deutschland, an Bord der riesigen Antonov 124. Durch die schreckliche Entf hrung 1977 der Boeing "Landshut" ist dieses Flugzeug auch ein Teil der Deutschen Geschichte. Durch seine St rke und Zuverl ssigkeit hat Charly damals den vielen Geiseln in seiner Kabine das Leben gerettet. Er hat dabei eine gro e Rolle gespielt, ja sogar eine Hauptrolle. Ich gebe deshalb die Hoffnung nicht auf, dass es bald eine Einigung geben wird, was mit diesem tapferen Flugzeug passiert. Seit seiner Landung in Friedrichshafen steht es wieder einsam in einer Halle und wartet auf sein endg ltiges Schicksal. Terror ist in unserer Welt leider sehr verbreitet. So schrecklich es auch ist, Kindern darf man solche Ereignisse nicht vorenthalten. Sie sind unvoreingenommen und machen sich ihre eigenen Gedanken. Diese sind oft intensiver und klarer, als die von Erwachsenen. (siehe auch Teil I)

Ein kleiner Schneemann lebt ganz alleine im ewigen Eis. Eines Tages bekommt er Besuch von dem Samenkern einer L wenzahnblume. Dieser wurde vom Nordwind dorthin geweht. Weil der Schneemann berzeugt ist, dass es in dieser Welt viel zu wenig Liebe gibt, plant er eine ganz besondere Reise. Gemeinsam mit dem L wenzahnsamen, einer M we, zwei Sonnenblumenkernen und einem kleinen Eisberg, machen sie sich auf den Weg zum Herzland. Dort m chte der Schneemann gerne sein Herz verschenken und damit Liebe. Die Geschichte zeigt, dass Liebe die st rkste Kraft ist, die es gibt. Sie kann kleine Wunder bewirken und Traurigkeit in Gl ck umwandeln.
