Il libro ha applicato il modello DEA per misurare l'efficienza di scala delle imprese alimentari in Vietnam dal 2004 al 2008. Lo scopo di questo libro quello di misurare l'efficienza di scala, quindi l'analisi dell'efficienza di scala fortemente incentrata. I risultati del metodo DEA sono interpretati come segue. Il numero di aziende che operano su scala ottimale di 15, 33, 36, 9 e 13 per ogni anno dal 2004 al 2008. Semplicemente, il numero di imprese che operano con rendimenti di scala crescenti di 877, 923, 913, 859 e 830. Inoltre, una piccola parte opera con rendimenti di scala decrescenti. Dopo aver misurato l'efficienza di scala di queste imprese, gli autori utilizzano il modello Tobit per individuare i fattori che influenzano il funzionamento delle imprese. Il risultato di questo modello mostra che il rapporto salari-lavoro e D1 (Nord) hanno un effetto positivo sull'efficienza operativa delle imprese alimentari.

O objetivo deste livro medir a efici ncia de escala, pelo que a an lise da efici ncia de escala est fortemente centrada. O resultado do m todo DEA interpretado da seguinte forma. Simplesmente, os n meros de empresas que operam com retornos crescentes escala s o 877, 923, 913, 859 e 830. Al m disso, uma pequena parte opera com retornos decrescentes escala. Depois de medir a efici ncia de escala destas empresas, os autores utilizam o modelo Tobit para encontrar o fator que afecta o funcionamento das empresas. In the nineteenth-century, fractional calculus had its origin in extending differentiation and integration operators from the integer-order case to the fractional-order case. Discrete fractional calculus has recently become an important research topic, useful in various science and engineering applications. The first definition of the fractional-order discrete-time/difference operator was introduced in 1974 by Diaz and Osler, where such operator was derived by discretizing the fractional-order continuous-time operator. Successfully, several types of fractional-order difference operators have then been proposed and introduced through further generalizing numerous classical operators, motivating several researchers to publish extensively on a new class of systems, viz the nonlinear fractional-order discrete-time systems (or simply, the fractional-order maps), and their chaotic behaviors.
