When the British colonial power in the nineteenth century extended its influence to the mountainous borderland between India and Burma, it brought about an era of fundamental cultural changes for the native Naga tribes. The guns of the conquerors were followed by the dogmas of the missionaries, as well as the drawing pens and cameras of the documentarians. Their pictures and artifacts soon found their way onto the tables of parlors and into Europe's museums. The spectacular material culture with its individualistic aesthetics, along with the fascination of headhunting, soon led to the Naga being stylized as the epitome of 'noble savages'. The pictorial documentation of the tribe reached its peak in the 1930s, following the research expeditions by the Austrian ethnologist Christoph von Furer-Haimendorf and his German colleague Hans-Eberhard Kauffmann. The photographic heritage of Kauffmann, believed to be lost and then rediscovered by the author, is the focus of this publication. It attempts, by means of a detailed pictorial ethnography, to reconstruct the aesthetic and cultural reality of the Nagas in the 1930s, through the ethnographer's lens. This is contextualized by Furer-Haimendorf 's photographs, alongside other sources. A detailed introduction presents the working practices and analyzes the biographies of the two ethnographers and their political and ideological entanglements.

Wozzeck" ist eine Oper in drei Akten nach dem Dramenfragment "Woyzeck" von Georg B chner. Die Arbeit an der Oper beendete Alban Berg 1921. Eine Auff hrung von drei Ausschnitten im Jahr 1924 brachte ihm den ersten ffentlichen Erfolg. Lange Zeit fand sich kein Opernhaus, das die ganze Oper wegen der immensen Schwierigkeiten f r Orchester und S nger zur Auff hrung bringen wollte. Erich Kleiber erkannte die Genialit t der Partitur und brachte den "Wozzeck" nach legend r gewordenen 137 Proben am 14. Dezember 1925 in der Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin zur Urauff hrung. Der "Wozzeck" gilt heute als Markstein in der Geschichte der Oper und als eines der bedeutendsten Werke des 20. Jahrhunderts. Die Drucklegung der Oper erfolgte 1925 mit finanzieller Unterst tzung von Alma Mahler-Werfel, der Witwe von Gustav Mahler. Alban Berg widmete ihr aus Dankbarkeit die Oper.

Geographische Informationssysteme (GIS) scheinen eine L sung f r diese Probleme zu sein, die von einem gro en Teil der Bev lkerung als "betr gerisch" und "parteiisch" angesehen werden. Das GIS erscheint somit als ein Werkzeug zur Entscheidungshilfe und zur Verringerung von Ungleichheiten in der Landverwaltung in Gabun. Es ist ein notwendiges und sehr praktisches Werkzeug. Es reduziert nicht nur die Kosten f r die Bereitstellung von Dienstleistungen, sondern auch die Arbeitszeit. So kann der Staat als Eigent mer des Landes in Gabun besser gegen die anarchische Besetzung von Parzellen vorgehen und die Bev lkerung auf erschlossene Grundst cke lenken, um die Urbanisierung zu steuern.

In Gabon, talking about land has become a taboo subject, because there are a number of inconsistencies in the allocation of plots. Thus, to overcome certain shortcomings, geographic information systems (GIS) appear to be one of the solutions to this management, which is considered "fraudulent" and "partisan" by a large part of the population. GIS thus appears to be a decision-making tool that can be used to reduce inequalities in land management in Gabon. It is a necessary and very practical tool. It reduces not only the costs of service, but also the working time. Therefore, the State, as the owner of land in Gabon, can better fight against the anarchic occupation of plots and direct the population towards serviced land in order to control urbanization.

In Gabon, parlare di terra diventato un argomento tab , poich vi sono numerose incongruenze nell'assegnazione degli appezzamenti. Per ovviare ad alcune carenze, i sistemi di informazione geografica (GIS) sembrano essere una delle soluzioni a questa gestione, considerata "fraudolenta" e "di parte" da gran parte della popolazione. Il GIS sembra quindi essere uno strumento decisionale che aiuta a ridurre le disuguaglianze nella gestione del territorio in Gabon. uno strumento necessario e molto pratico. Riduce non solo i costi del servizio, ma anche il tempo dedicato al lavoro. In quanto proprietario della terra in Gabon, lo Stato pu quindi lottare meglio contro l'occupazione anarchica degli appezzamenti e indirizzare la popolazione verso terreni serviti per controllare l'urbanizzazione.
