The Quest to Live is not just a memoir. The writings are in two parts the first part being the author's background and her near suicide, and the second part explains how we can truly change our thoughts. The changing of new thoughts for the reader becomes possible through the exercises that examine, and reflect on the readers' own mind and soul. The author has read many readings on how to change to positive thinking, and the need to change toward positive thinking. This book is different because the author uses examples from her own life to record the process of changing. This book represents the struggles of the process, and how to overcome them and live. Deep down she believes we all want to "Live Our Best Life." She is one of those people who now understand that living our best life starts where we are right here, and right now.
Surrounded by death one girl must learn what it is to live. The chilling zombie thriller, soon to be a major film staring Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams.

Those Days...Those Days You Could Not Go to School is a rhyming Christian children's book and was written by Carrie Bryant-Render, who is the Director at Holy Cross Early Learning Center in Mahwah, New Jersey. She wrote the book because many of the parents at her school emailed her or commented on their Facebook page about how much their children missed their teachers, friends and coming to preschool during the 2020 Corona virus Pandemic. Ms. Carrie wanted to share a little sunshine with families and students while we are not able to physically attend school and be together. She hopes it will help them cope with the many emotions the youngsters have been feeling since we have had to mostly "Stay at home". Ms. Carrie's middle son, Luke Render, a ten year old 4th grader from Oakland, New Jersey, helped her with the illustrations of the book. Luke loves to draw and create things, so this was a fun project for them to work on together. The book could also serve as a tool for parents of young children who, in the future, might be missing school for an extended period of time due to an illness, family emergency, surgery, and so on. "Awe-tism" that is what Lila, the new dog, thinks when she hears about 12-year-old Rosalyn's autism. Loving her owner but puzzled by her behavior, Lila comes to understand that Rosalyn may need her help in conquering issues like new friends, a possible boyfriend, and bullies. Into A Rose is a coming-of-age novel told from the perspective of a dog who is adopted by and befriends a young girl diagnosed with high-functioning autism. As a puppy, Lila is excited when she is adopted by a family but the strange behavior displayed by their oldest child Rosalyn perplexes and slightly disturbs her. Rosalyn is quite unusual; she talks to herself, she looks like she's in pain whenever people touch her, and she spends most of her time in her room. The only one she lets hang around her is Lila and despite her new owner's odd behavior, Lila forms a bond with Rosalyn that could be the key to helping her through her struggle of making friends and being the person Lila believes she is. Written by autistic author Carrie Scheer, the book provides an excellent and life-like perspective on the barriers and joys that autism brings to a coming-of-age story. For young readers it is an eye-opening lesson about the effects of bullying and compassion, as Rosalyn and her dog navigate junior high and family.
