If you have wondered whether The Book of Revelation has already accurately prophesied the future, then you can stop wondering. It has, with jaw-dropping accuracy. So it is not a book to take lightly. Therefore, we'll present it as fairly as possible and as simply as possible, then you make up your own mind. If you think this may be the first credible interpretation of THE BOOK OF REVELATION in the last 2,000 years, then you are invited to read the parent of this book titled: A Simplified Interpretation of THE BOOK OF REVELATION Based on Five Modern Revelations All Authored or Authorized by Jesus There you will find all of these explanations in conversational language exactly as you find them in this book; - PLUS you will find the most important passages from JOHN'S REVELATION, on which they are based; - PLUS you will find the most important passages from two modern revelations from Jesus, which books were designed specifically to assign meanings to John's symbols; - PLUS you will find a few other passages from three other modern revelations by Jesus; - PLUS you will find the original text of: John's Book of Revelation Jesus' Revealed Translation of John's Revelation, Jesus' Historical Fulfillment of John's Revelation. Then if you REALLY want to see how to interpret THE BOOK OF REVELATION verse by verse, the next step up is: THE BOOK OF REVELATION FINALLY INTERPRETED Based on Five Modern Revelations Between 1852 and 1976 All Authored or Authorized by Jesus There you will find over 500 passages drawn from all five of Jesus' modern revelations, all lined up right after the verses from John's Revelation that they are meant to re-interpret. Then if you REALLY want to see where this all comes from, you may consult the book titled: A Full Version of THE HISTORY OF THE ORIGIN OF ALL THINGS Given to Us by Jesus in 1852 This book was the first of five modern revelations given to us by Jesus over a 125 year period from 1852-1976. But if all you want is a simple, conversational POCKET MANUAL TO UNDERSTAND THE BOOK OF REVELATION without all the rest of this fancy research, then you are already reading it, and that may be all you need.
Our goal with this book is to draw as much information as possible from THE HISTORY OF THE ORIGIN OF ALL THINGS in order to help us interpret JOHN'S BOOK OF REVELATION and to use its larger philosophy to help prepare our planet for its transition from the Old Age to the New Age. PART I offers an introductory narrative titled "How Jesus Envisions Our Future as the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth." That narrative is immediately followed by a list of nearly 70 supporting references from THE HISTORY OF THE ORIGIN OF ALL THINGS so that you are not left thinking this is some na ve "pie-in-the-sky" concoction offered as a nice idea without a solid basis except in hope. Hopefully you will, instead, conclude that this is the most specific and solid picture of our future that we have available to us, if for no other reason than it is Jesus who have given it to us, as hard as that may be to believe for many. So please wait until you have read what the narrative says, and what its references support, before you draw your own conclusions. PART 2 offers a listing of Jesus' expectations of his followers in terms of how to live more closely in harmony with his original teachings he gave us 2,000 years ago, along with a few more in the latter days. PART 3 offers a listing of expectations of Jesus' churches in terms of how they, too, should live more closely in harmony with his teachings. PART 4 offers an alphabetical listing of descriptions found in THE HISTORY OF THE ORIGIN OF ALL THINGS which help to define some of the most important terms that characterize what we have come to call the "Old Age" and the "New Age," like the "New Jerusalem" and the "Millennium." PART 5 offers an alphabetical listing of rather stan-dard Christian teachings, making it easier to see that Jesus is still saying the same things as 2,000 years ago so that there is no reason for us to be alarmed that he is somehow a different Jesus. No, he is the same Jesus teaching the same things, so that about 95% of his teachings in THE HISTORY OFTHE ORIGIN OF ALL THINGS are about the same as his familiar teachings, just a little updated. PART 6 offers an alphabetical listing of some of the other 5% of his teachings that are somewhat different, which each reader must evaluate on their own, like Atlantis, Paradise, and a new version of "the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil." PART 7 offers a list of standard Bible phrases, which Jesus re-interprets for the modern mind, thereby offering him his opportunity to provide higher explanations than even the Bible gives us.
Welcome to the Book of Revelation. A whole lot of us are wondering what is going to happen in "the latter days" after reading John's prophesies in the Book of Revelation: - Are we really going to experience the "final battle of Armageddon" where good fights it out with evil? - Are we really going to experience Jesus' Second Coming? - Is the Kingdom of Heaven really going to become the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth? - Are we really going to see an "Old Age" replaced with a "New Age"? These and many other questions are all directly addressed in this modern interpretation of Revelations. But this is not just one more effort to substitute a few new meanings for 300 symbols that John used in his Revelation. We've had 2,000 years to try all those possibilities, and we have not come up with even one credible interpretation of THE BOOK OF REVELATION. That is because there is really only one source of these answers who can interpret John's symbols for us--Jesus. So this book draws on five modern revelations that Jesus has either authored or authorized in about the the last century to prepare us for his Second Coming. But this book does not try to prove to you that these revelations came from Jesus. That is impossible. We can't even "prove" that Jesus lived. All we have is a vague and distorted picture of what he did when he was alive, and we only have one credible historical description from the Jewish historian Josephus. The reason that Christianity is the largest religion on earth and that the Bible is the world's best seller is that Jesus embodied more truth in his teachings than any other religion. So he has won our allegiance over the centuries. Therefore, we as Christians don't even ask each other: "Can you prove that Jesus said and did all these things?"--because the answer is "No, we can't." Instead, we study his teachings because they are the highest truths that we know, and we do it without proof of any kind, except our own personal witness.
The purpose of JESUS' REVELATIONS, PROPHECIES, AND PEACE is to create a very precise vision that can guide us in the best ways to work with Jesus to create what the Jewish prophet Daniel predicted 2,500 years ago would happen in the "latter days": Daniel predicted the exact year when Jesus would lay the foundation for his "Kingdom that would never die." And in that year of 1851, Jesus returned to earth in spirit form and began "inner-dictating" to a "holy medium" named Levi Arnold the book which Arnold would publish in 1852 titled THE HISTORY OF THE ORIGIN OF ALL THINGS. That book marked the beginning of the "latter days." That original book, indeed, laid the foundation for the "Kingdom that would never die," which we will most conveniently refer to as "the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth," although it has many names, including: The Kingdom God's Kingdom The Holy City The Millennium God's Government Christ's Kingdom The New Jerusalem The Kingdom of God The Fifth Monarchy The Kingdom of Heaven The Empire with No End The Great Day of the Lord The Fifth Universal Empire The Kingdom of Jesus Christ The Kingdom of Heaven on Earth The Age of Light and Life on Urantia Then John Zebedee--Jesus' Apostle and "scribe" of THE BOOK OF REVELATION--followed Daniel 500 years later and referred to this "Kingdom of Heaven on Earth" when John said that he saw the "New Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven from God." Both Daniel and John were our best and most accurate prophets, so this time we should seriously study what they said because they knew that of which they spoke; and they spoke of events that would take place during "the latter days," which Jesus said began in 1851 and would host the creation of his Kingdom--"The Kingdom of Jesus Christ"--of which he would be the King.
The purpose of THE SPIRITUAL FACTOR IN JESUS' FIVE MODERN REVELATIONS is to offer a comprehensive view of the following spiritual texts: 1. The History of the Origin of All Things, 1852 2. The Revealed Translation of John's Revelation, 1908 3. The Historical Fulfillment of John's Revelation, 1908 4. The Urantia Book, 1955 5. A Course in Miracles, 1976 Each of these five books offers us various pieces to the puzzle of the over-arching "architecture of the spirit," which we will now piece together into a full picture that is not available to us by reading any one of these books by itself. We claim this collection of five Revelations represents the highest level of spiritual teachings that has ever been gathered together on the planet; therefore, we have the opportunity to achieve the highest level of spiritual understanding that has ever been achieved on the planet by masses of people--not just isolated individuals like Jesus and Gandhi. That level of spiritual understanding is a treasure worth making our highest priority in life, as Jesus teaches us in THE URANTIA BOOK: "The right to enter the Kingdom is conditioned by faith--personal belief. The cost of remaining in the progressive ascent of the Kingdom is the pearl of great price, in order to possess which a man sells all that he has." This book which focuses on the "pearl of great price" should technically be a part of the preceding book titled: PROPHECY, REVELATION, ARMAGEDDON, and GOD'S KINGDOM as Spelled out by Jesus in Five Modern Revelations In that book, we include the following four chapter titles: I.THE PROPHECY FACTOR II.THE REVELATION FACTOR IIITHE KINGDOM FACTOR IV.THE ARMAGEDDON FACTOR However, the topic of "spirit" is so extensive that it necessitates its own book. Just the last two books alone--THE URANTIA BOOK and A COURSE IN MIRACLES--are both as thick as the Bible; and Jesus' other "general philosophy"--THE HISTORY OF THE ORIGIN OF ALL THINGS--is another 750 pages. So the only way to present the topic of "spirituality" in His books is to offer the tip of the iceberg, then direct readers who want further study to those books which contain it. But the content of this present book comes predominantly from THE URANTIA BOOK because it offers us the most comprehensive and detailed descriptions of this invisible spiritual architecture; then A COURSE IN MIRACLES and THE HISTORY OF THE ORIGIN OF ALL THINGS make up for it when they give us the exact quotations which link all of these books together in very precise ways. Then even this "tip of the iceberg" presentation of THE SPIRITUAL FACTOR IN JESUS' FIVE MODERN REVELATIONS does allow us to see how the pieces of this broader puzzle fit together like we have not been able to present it before while focusing on any one particular book.
The content of A POCKET MANUAL TO UNDERSTAND THE SPIRITUAL FACTOR IN JESUS' FIVE MODERN REVELATIONS is the "architecture of spirituality," which means the constant "spiritual structures" that we find in our search for our "soul." This is the purpose of life, whereby we must learn to do God's Will rather than our own will; and as we do so, we build up our soul to the point that it hopefully has immortal potential sufficient to earn us eternal life. This "invisible spiritual architecture" includes its foundation and its pillars, both crowned off by "Heaven above," which reaches down to mankind below in various ways, like transmitting to us various spiritual texts for our study. Jesus laid the foundation for this "spiritual factor" when he authored or authorized the transmission and publication of five Revelations all on American soil within the 125-year period between 1851 and 1976: JESUS' FIVE MODERN REVELATIONS 1. The History of the Origin of All Things, 1851 2. The Revealed Translation of John's Revelation, 1908 3. The Historical Fulfillment of John's Revelation,1908 4. The Urantia Book, 1955 5. A Course in Miracles, 1976 These writings contributed the "pillars" of this spir-itual architecture, which are the names of our chapters; and those chapter names are mostly the same in this book as in its parent book, only reduced in size and complexity; and some chapters have been eliminated in order to use our limited space to focus on the most important information that affects our daily lives the most: CHAPTER TITLES I. GOD AND HIS UNIVERSE II. JESUS, CREATOR SON OF OUR LOCAL UNIVERSE III. THE ORIGINAL PARADISE IV. THE SEPARATION FROM GOD V. THE ATONEMENT AND HEALING VI. THE PURPOSE OF LIFE VII. THE INDWELLING FRAGMENT OF GOD VIII THE CREATION OF THE SOUL IX. THE ASCENSON PLAN X. THE FINAL PARADISE XI. THE MORAL PARAMETERS OF LIFE Each of these pillars and all of these Revelations teach us a little bit more about this spiritual architecture so that we can raise our consciousness in order to live by higher laws than our own selfishness, which are the "Laws of the Jungle." So each major religion on earth offers its own "mythology" to explain the source and meaning of this invisible architecture; but they all fail to provide a full explanation, just as we will fail because of the difficulty of the task and the scarcity of details available. However, we have the advantage of being given by Jesus' these five modern Revelations listed above. Each of these five books offers us various pieces to the puzzle of this overarching "architecture of the spirit," which we will now piece together into a fuller picture that is not available to us by reading any one of these books by itself. THE PARENT RESEARCH BOOK However, if this kind of reduction makes you feel like it took the heart out of this topic of the "spirituality in Jesus' teachings," then you may want to refer to the parent book that gave birth to this one. That is the 460-page full research version with all quotations thoroughly accounted for. That parent book puts back into place everything that we have surgically removed from this one in order to offer you this Pocket Manual: THE SPIRITUAL FACTOR in Jesus' Five Modern Revelations Nonetheless, this little book does give us a beautiful opportunity to present to you the best of these texts in a shortened version, so that is what we have done. We hope you like it, with all of its admitted limitations.
