Using Gum Drop Notes is simple. I created this method with a degree in psychology and certification as a Suzuki violin teacher to help musicians more deeply understand music theory, sight-reading and the music they are playing. This doesn't represent any psychological issue. We aren't really seeing colors as we play. What is happening is that each note takes on an identity with sound and color unique to itself. We are using all learning modalities to accomplish this. Simply keep in mind the colors of the notes. Subliminally you will be learning where the notes sit on the staff.
